Give them a shot
Lots of good choices here. Menu isn't as updated as I would like so please get on that. One of my pet peeves is dispensaries that can't take 5 minutes out of their day to update their menu.
But anyways, about a month ago I got some really tasty Sensi star, that shit was bomb. Lots of crystals all over this gooey mass of deliciousness.

Great experience
Good variety, professional website(updated frequently), friendly budtenders, very quick service. Nice gram hookup on my 1/8 of panama red. Store small, but clean and tidy. Parking could be intresting if you go at the wrong time. Oh ya, they have a security guard that wands you down before you go back, fyi.

So much to choose from
It was extremely difficult to find what I was looking for with sooooo many bomb selections. I can't believe i've never been here before, so much to choose from and the prices are pretty damn attractive. Nugs were really pretty and sticky, super heady high. The receptionist and budtenders were very helpful and caring.

i had a nice visit the tenders were very nice and really seemed to know about the different strands and were quite helpful on helping me with my selection on which medicine would best suite me and symptoms.

Good nugs GREAT prices
Can't say enough about these guys. I love rolling blunts but hate the cost so when I can grab a really decent 1/8 for $35 it really helps the wallet.
I've came here just a few time and have left extremely satisfied on those occasions. Keep the the good work and keep bringin in those bomb ass nugs.

Endless Menu
Heard about this place through the their text message and im really glad i decided to check it out. Atmosphere and people are amazing and so willing to help. Processing was fast and the selection seemed endless. I had a tough time choosing between all their flowers. I eventually went with the Columbian Gold, and was blown away! Plus the free pre-roll really brightened my day. Keep up the good work 562!

a good one!
i decided to check this new place out around the corner
it opened up about 2 weeks ago, and when I rolled up it was empty. i'm betting it won't be the next time i'm there.
parking - it's right next to a supermarket, so there is ample parking across the street if you can't find street parking. i did.
walk in, past the security guard that looks like he can actually handle security (y'all know which dispensaries i'm taking a stab at), and into a pretty big waiting room. verification was easy and fast. i was through the 2 doors to the bud room in no time.
there i met mike. mike was vague about the first time patient special, but you'll understand why when i write about what i walked out with.
they let me split 8ths, they weigh it out in front of you, they have the push down/turn containers. All huge pluses.
i made it clear that i had only had $40. so i didn't even look at the top shelf stuff. i took a look at the $40/8th GDP and the $40/8th Blue Dream.
mike weighed it very generously. VERY generously. i walked out with a full 8th of Blue Dream and 2 grams of GDP. pretty nice 1st time special? an extra 2 grams! apparently that's basically there first time deal anyway. (just checked out their website, it's pretty nice!)
the blue dream was definitely the better of the 2 buds, and i'm glad i got more of that.
lets start with the GDP:
definitely purple. huge nugs. amazing smell. i walked away with 1 2g nug, at pretty much the perfect dryness. remember, i paid $40/8th, so this was better than I was expecting. downside: doesn't taste too good.
blue dream: really REALLY dense blue dream. i don't see a downside, it was definitely a deal.

This place was very very nice. the people here treat you like a medical patient and have a very nice selection of buds and clones. this place is a 45 cap with the exception of church og, which didnt look too impressive, and kushage, which looked very impressive, at 50 an 8th. one thing that stands out in this place is the nugs here, and the customer service. the prices are average for the market right now, but seriously the budtenders made me giggle and smile the entire time. was very comforting and was highly suggested not to rush even tho i was the last customer and it was past 7 already. I went with poison og at 45, but since i was a first timer, the guys gave it to me for 40 and weighed it really heavy. awesome.
poison og, hybrid, deep skunky og smell. nice tight nugs, a little larger than your typical og nugs. taste is very similar to the smell. very heavy heady high, makes your eyes wanna close and at the same time slows down your thought process. very good for people with ADD, like me, and my lower back feels much better after a long labor filled day. nice job on whoever grew that strain.
all in all, no FTP but generous portions, VERY entertaining and knowledgeable budtenders, and extremely nice buds and clones. all i would ask from this place is some hash, since everyone is doing it again, and just bring 2 50 dollar strains down to 45. other than that......this place is flawless.

A Good Find!
This place was awesome. I came in for my first time right as they were about to close, literally they were right about to lock the gate, and they didn't complain or give off any bad vibes for keeping them. The budtender let me take me time, no rush whatsoever! He also weighed out my GDP 1/8th real big, WAY bigger than 3.5g. This place should DEFINITELY be on everybody's list.

My new spot
Wen in one afternoon not knowing what to expect and when I went in the bud room I was very pleased. Big Dense buds in almost every jar all smelled dank. The Budtender seemed like a gentleman very informative and took time to let me see all the buds. Also had a nice selection of plants and clones. Will definitely return many times

Love this place
Been here twice and both times was more then satisfied. Both times I went in the budtender Mike was extremly friendly talkative and was actually excited to show off and talk about diffrent strains and medications. Most clubs I feel rushed with people breathing down my neck but not here. Here I got the service I wanted and I really want to thank Mike for making it such an amazing experience both times.
As far as the bud I would give it a solid A+. I tried the ATF and it was spot on taste flavor look and everything. I also tried the Sky OG and I was in the clouds. Will Deff be back for that GDP, unfourtonatly they were out of that at the moment but he said they would be re stocking soon. :) Thanks againsc0ttydrumss -

Not Diggin Them Right Now
Went in as first timer, was cool but not best choice.. Somebody told me they just opened so i gave them a try and wasnt Feeling Them at all.. As a first timer, they hit me wit a gram of that Tangerine Dream, not the best but hey free meds was ok with me.. Tried the Icy Kush and the Kaya Kush and even the Kushage which was awsome by the way, but really played out on some buds due to having big stems on them still, it ended up being about a gram off after being broken off the stems, but could do nothing by then was already home checking the weight due to the stems.. 420 Day was even worse, but gonna just leave it alone.. For the Most its an Ok Place, but cant waste my hard earned ends and your giving me branches with the meds for savings for yourselves and not showing love for the patients?? All in all, cool spot will come back and hopefully they will Redeem themselves.. Rico will be back and let you know who he is, just know and if you happen in there, let them know that you might have seen Rico's Review.. Hook it up!!!!

The Highest Quality buds I have seen in Long Beach
Mike my man! You are the Greatest Budtender I've met. Thanks for the clones. The buds are mostly huge and usually sticky and/or covered in crystals. You def get what you pay for here. Trust his reccomendations for what you are looking for. They have never failed me, my fav is Permafrost because I have a fun high and get plenty of creative thoughts right after blazin all you need is one bowl of that for a wake n bake. Bulldog og was bomb, Ric flair is what I would get next- that shit is wwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooo, the Icy kush was good, but I'm more of a sativa person- if you see it you will have to try it. Mr. wreck is also on my next to try list. I could go on and on, but typing is fucking up my high-lol. Thanks again for hooking me up when I am on a budget. The weed I get from here usually makes my friends jelly. I just laugh and play that snoop song for em, This weed is mine!

Today was my first time visiting 562 Discount Med. The staff from the start, once i walked in the door, they had a welcoming, warming attitude. The strains that they have all have a beautiful fragrance and are beautiful in color. I got 3 different strains and so far they are 2 for 2. Will be back? OF COURSE. Would i refer other patients? YES, I WILL. The staff was so nice and I love their charisma. THEY ROCK!!!!!

The KIND Meds...
Ok, ever since LBC went with the ordinance "grown in city limits" it's been difficult, in general, to find dense, big buds. Not anymore. This collective has LA/OC style meds at a mostly reasonable cap. Their are other fairly dank spots in town that would rate a LBC 5 but an LA/OC 4. I love heavy Indicas for pain and insomnia so I went with Northern Lights. You can't break any of the buds up I saw by hand (at least me) so you have to grind their meds (A GOOD thing). Mike, BT/Owner/Cultivator is a very welcoming dude who proudly displays his work and obviously a cannabis connoisseur and can expound on any given strain. No bubble headed chicks with their tits hangin out who don't know shit (ok by by me...that's not why I go to dispensary anyway). They also have a nice selection of dank looking $35.00 eights to compensate for the spot up the street that was shut down. Mike knows his demographic so if you still want a good $35.00 eighth or $10.00 gram close to home...they got you covered. PS- If you click on the link on the top of the page here and go to their website and click on the menu they have have further explanations of the strains and big pictures that are ACTUALLY the buds you see when you get there. MAJOR PROPS! No cut and paste fake bullshit pics. I actually thought they might be bullshits pics myself but now I know they're of the actual meds because like Michael Douglas said in "Falling Down" when he'd ordered a Whopper packed with a full arsenal of like 30 guns....I want one that looks like the picture on the menu! Remember that movie? I do...I think I'm going to throw it my DVD player.

SUPER DANK BUDS- Check this place out!!!
Was there Friday, got 2 1/8s of Sensi Star and Blue Scorpion, got Free Sample(About a gram...!.!.!), free Gram of House strain(Green Crack, which was pretty good), and also Free Joint!!! got home and found out i have very close to 4 Grams on each 1/8 i've got as well!!! This is a TOP QUALITY club!
I have been to 562 Discount Meds twice already, both experiences were excellent. It's great to see a club have it together the way they do. Let me start off with my first visit, as I'm approaching the spot I realize that parking is gonna be a luck of the draw, I didn't find parking right in front, no problem, parked on Cherry right around the corner, a very short walk and I was greeted by a green cross by the door. Checked in, the girl behind the counter was very cool! Full of smiles and makes you feel very welcomed. The paper work was not bad at all, your typical info, sign here, initialize here, done. Nice small cozy waiting room, I didn't wait long at all, was asked to step into the bud room and off I went. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two VERY cool guys, I walked right up to them and talked right away about various meds, my tolerance, and our experiences with mary. I realized right away these cats knew their shit. Some things you just can't fake, and I have had to correct many of bud tenders for giving me wrong information, not to be a dick, but to let them know they should know somewhat about the product they sell. It's bad enough some that I have talked to think OG is a real kush from the Hindu Kush mountain range....but that's a whole other subject right there, back to this club. These cats knew whats up. They were so proud to show me almost their whole inventory! For example, Mike the owner I believe would say "rub your finger inside this jar" to show me how many trichs would stick to my finger. He would grab a bud to show me under the magnilamp to see it's beauty up close. I must say, I was hella impressed!! Real big buds, full of trichs, well cured, smelled and looked great! A great collection, different buds with great aromas and colors. I love any Blue strain, I'm a huge Blueberry fan and all the Blues for that matter, and the Blue Scorpion was a GREAT BLUE!!! I also tried a gram that was recommended to me, the Purple Erkle X Goo, I really enjoyed that smoke. I also got kicked down a free gram of the Malawi Gold, a nice competent heady sativa that wasn't bad at all. It was the Blue Scorpion that let me know these cats are for real, not just a good shop, good looking bud, and smart budtenders, the product does have to "sing" and this hit every note. My second trip I tried the Sensi Star, I love a good Sensi Star, its a cup winner indica with heady sativa like traits to its stoniness. This was a beauty, buds stick to other buds like siamese twins, had a great jack like scent, thick and stoney. Had the Icy Kush, the bottom of the buds were white full of trichomes and the tops were bright green with white flakes deep inside, really nice robust bubba like kush flavor. The buds were HUGE. Tried the Super Lemon Haze, a great cup winner and this was a really nice batch of it. Cheesy aroma with a hint of citrus, inhale and get a feeling of carbonation hitting your nose like lemon lime soda, it was great. Had to get more Blue Scorpion, that was a no brainer for me. Now the two homies running the show there, wow, I feel like I know them for years already, very cool down to earth guys. Very helpful and their knowledge and love for what they do is apparent from the moment you talk to them. They hooked up an extra gram of Icy Kush on top of it. All buds seemed properly flushed, the only coughing came from the expansion :)
BUD QUALITY: 5 out of 5. Great, some of the best you'll find this part of town, or even any town. True quality, real big buds, look, smell, taste, effect, its all there. Just go in and look around at the different strains, these cats seem very helpful and I know you'll find something you'll like. They have plenty to select from, different flowers have different properties and with this selection and quality I'm sure you'll find whatever your needs are to be satisfied, these guys love what they do and it shows.
ATMOSPHERE: Very chill inside, very CLEAN! Very professional look and feel, I feel very comfortable here, both times stayed for at least a half an hour it seemed like since they were not extra busy when I got there, I never felt rushed. As a matter of fact, they made me feel like I was home, thanks again guys!
STAFF: Excellent, Mike and the other homie, also the girl there too, you guys are AWESOME!
ACCESSIBILITY: Just like most spots, luck of the dice finding parking in front. No matter what, you wont find parking too far away.
PRICE: The price is good as most would say for the quality. This is where I would like to give my advice, drop to a 45 cap and its over! I am one that is all about compassion, when I see clubs dropping prices and keeping up the best quality. I feel this club is in it for the right reasons, regardless of the 55 an eight price on top which is only a couple of strain really(I don't think I would rate 5 stars for any club selling over 50 an eight but these guys are so cool I made an exception), they are new and when clubs start off the prices usually drop within a few months, I hope to see this happen here too. Still, I saw some amazing quality bud for 40 and eight there like the Colombian Gold, so I know these guys are trying to have something of great quality for all price ranges.
This is a great club with great meds, if you read this and where thinking of going before, just go, I'm sure you won't regret it...go there and tell them Wave O Matic sent you, you know!!!

The Best in Long Beach
There is absolutely nothing bad for me to say about this place, seriously. The staff is made up of really awesome people, they hook it up for sure. It's a completely comfortable environment in a very convenient area of Long Beach. The quality of their product is exceptional and reasonably priced. It's the best dispensary I've been to and should be your first choice if you're anywhere near Long Beach for sure. I don't typically do reviews but everything about this place is so awesome, I just had to share about this spot.

Review on the Colombian Gold

Lets go back 25 years....
Chocolate Thai, Thai sticks, Buddha Thai, Swazi, Panama Red, Colombian Red, Acapulco Gold, Colombian Gold. Who would of thought then that such great flowers would be pretty hard to find many years later. When is the last time you had some really good Thai bud? So sweet and sour, so strong, it was the "OG" of it's time. Even with all the great strains there are today, how can you not miss these classics? When was the last time someone told you about having one of these recently only to find out it was nowhere near the real deal? Well there is some really good news at least for one of these past greats. I picked up an eight of the Colombian Gold here, it had caught my eye last time I was in, I was a huge fan of Colombian Gold, one of my favorites, when you had a good batch, you got LIT! Well, this is a good batch! And to find it in 2011 this good... very happy....and for 40 an eight, that's kind of old school too! Open the lid and get a sweet, musky scent,the smell really takes you back. Huge buds, nice earthy frostiness forming chunky clusters with red hairs making a golden green color, looks really nice. One hit and I knew it was the real deal, Colombian Gold and I didn't need to build a time machine to get some. This a great med that kicks to the head right away, great Colombian taste, beware day dreamers, this will get you staring at nothing. It grabs the body and really relaxes it while letting your mind do all the work, that is if you want it to. Happiness sure makes an entrance, and while he's roaming around Hunger is quick to follow him. A few more tokes and a Cheech and Chong song rang in my ear, wow, this really is taking me back! This is a great retro smoke that can stand against much of the more toted stuff today, I'm very happy to find this classic again and this is a really good batch of it. Thanks again to the great staff of 562 Discount Meds, you guys got another winner here. This was one of my favorite strains so I had to give it it's own review.Waveomatic -

I wanted my favorite spot down the street but since they are now CLOSED I tried this place and other than the wait to be verified it was not too bad. I got the Green Crack (they should update the menu) the quality was good and it was only $35 an 1/8 so I won't complain. I'll be back when you guys get a cheese of any sort. Thanks.

Not Impressed
Not very impressed their first time patient deal is misleading 5g.1/8 but its only for the lower lower shelf stuff that doesn't look good a t all. The top shelf is caped at $55 I think that is way to high especially for the area its in, no parking you have to find parking on the street or illegally park across the street in the shopping center. Didn't want to walk out empty handed so grab a g. of blue scorpion very nice blue dream but stuff you can get elsewhere for $40. walk out with 1.4g. that was weight out "fat" no free edible or pipe or lighter. Very good customer service but won't come back unless its a 45 or 50 cap.

I came to this place for the first time last week after my primary shop was shut down. Didnt know what to expect, but this store exceeded my expectations. God quality bud or the prices all the way across the board. $10 -$13 G's for the bargain shoppers, and dank at $50 for the cannasieur. And the budtenders here are top-notch. Mike makes sure you leave the place happy. For my FTP deal I got a 5 Gram 8th of some dank bud and a free G of Ric Flair OG. Money Money Money
Upon my first visit to 562 the atmosphere was very homey and friendly to the tee. The strains are fantastic but sometimes out of reach due to the price but I left with a smile. The secondary visit I brought two referrals yet received no free joint as so promised on the top. The selection for those on a budget is very skim and not as dank as you would expect, yet the quantity is good. Very little choices leave it kinda hard to come back when others specialize in variety by prices less then 15 a gram.

mediocre buds, went with the purple cream, buds were purple and frosty but lacked a good cure. When you crack open a nug is when the beautiful purple smell hit you. The high was not bad nice and relaxing and a good purple. overall at 7/10 id say. Price was 45$ an eighth, or 25$ a half eighth. 15$ a g.

I Went in today for my first time unsure, but I came out smiling :D The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the bud and had a large selection of different strains to show me. for 35 dollars I got 5 grams(first time patient deal included) of some top shelf mini buds, which are super dank and made from a mixture of different top shelf strains. A lot of the buds were pretty impressive. I wasnt expecting to see nugs that bomb, but sure enough, they got em. Thank you 562! I will be back! :)

one of their lower priced strains....and it was STILL dank! I only picked up a gram (you may know how it goes...alot bills come due all at once) so I needed something in the interim. Mike (owner/cultivator) and Eli ( totally cool as well). So, i just went in and said, I need a cheap gram that's all i can afford today. They cheerfully broke out their lower priced strains, which according to Mike, they were not stress but the trim jobs that didn't meet his expectations to sell as a top shelf. Actually, I've seen way worse trim jobs that sold for a min of $45.00 an eighth, but Mike has alot pride in his cannabis (which is may cool...haven't seen that in a LBC collective for the most part since many "mom & pop" shops just shut down over the past year or so). Bottom line, they broke out like 6 or 8 jars of their "considered" mid/low grade ( but it's definitely not) and if you're looking for really good 30.00/35.00 eighth and you're local...no way you can find better. IMO. GOOD OG's for 30/35 or a nice hybrid or sativa? PS- they gave me free sample of Sensi Star...yet to try. The free samples they offer with purchase (in case you're wondering) is enough roll a nice joint (I've never been able to roll a good joint to save my life) or 2 or 3 bong rips.

PURPLE DIESEL...
has got me feeling right. I've been Chiefin' on Purple Diesel blunts, since picking up the 2 for 1 1/8 special they had last week. It doesn't look or smell great, but its honestly dynamite. It's purple as can be, but light pine green, accompanied with that sour smell, in the middle of nicely dense buds. Burns clean and evenly, and has a dominant sativa high. A fantastic smoke that will carry you through the day, without making you feel like crap an hour later. This was definitely a true hook up, for a 45 donation, you walk away with a heavy 1/4. And I guess Mike and Chris give free samples of meds, although I didn't receive one, they hooked me up fat on weight, and gave me a discount. Positively good meds, and abosolutely great people. Get down there and check it out for yourself. If you're disappointed, you're not at 562 Discount.

Really starting to LOVE this place
So this was my 3rd time back and it just get's better each time! The UK Cheese is just BOMB, not too harsh on the lungs and the head rush is SICK!!! The Headband is smooth and something I can smoke all day and be feeling stress free! The sample he gave me of Afgoo is potent! I already have some Afgoo but theirs is BETTER BY FAR! the people here are super friendly and have good knowledge on their strains. but the last 2 times i went was hell. 3 weeks ago i paid $240 for an mixed oz (all place hooks up w/ some top shelf). i trusted them to choose good strong strains. this is what the manager/owner got me; 15g Green Fruit (bottom shelf),5g Head Band and 6.5g of shiva skunk. basically the shittiest weed i can possibly get from there. i spent $240 when the average person spends $40. i stop going until they posted a purple diesel ad buy 2 1/8 for $45. as soon as i got there i inspected the strain. looks nice and purple. i asked him for the special he took the jar to the back and brought it back with completely different strain (bottom shelf). i am not here to discredit discount meds. very nice place good price i just happen to be there at the wrong time and place..twice!. i am so done with this place unless they have a special or apologize.

Wow, glad to see that they are steppin up they game with the quality of buds, but man on the specials that they offer aren't always what they have available.. Its sometimes the old switch a roo game, but have given them another chance.. Cosmic og was very nice, but that Blue Scorpion was awsome, just wish the BT didn't Jew me on the wait for my 1/8, 4.0 or 3.5, whatever it is from yall.. Saturday morning! - Up early, got my shit handled. Popped open Weedmaps to check what was happening and 562's ad came up. Gave them a call to make sure they were open and headed on down. The gal at the desk was friendly and offered to help fill out the paperwork to get me in faster. Once inside, I met Christian and Tim - very nice touch to shake hands and be welcomed. They had an amazing choice of meds and once I mentioned I was a sativa fan, both gentlemen immediately recommended the Blue Scorpian. Picked up an 1/8 and split another 1/8 of some UK Cheese and Sour Kush. Not dissapointed at all and the Scorpian tasted amazing. Great place! I shall return!

I love the staff! From the receptionist to the budtenders!! Their new patients are well taken care of. I showed up after 4th of July and they still had a lot to choose from. Great quality meds too. 1st time was great! on my way back in now
Went into the shop aweek or so back with only a little cash and they really hooked it up for me. The shelves were a little empty on the cheaper side, but the BT was generous enough to drop a few other strains down to the 10 dollar gram shelf since that was all I had. I went with a gram of the master kush, and the BT was very generous in weighing it out for me, I guess for my first time in. He gave me 1.7 of the master kush for 10 bucks so I was content with that, and the bud was actually really good for its price. The reason I gave them a 3 on staff is because I was kinda bummed when I asked the BT about their top shelf. I specifically stated that when I had the money, I will go back to a shop for a really good strong OG. He pulled out a couple top shelf jars of some nice looking indicas, but not a single one was an OG. A true OG has a distinct smell and even appearance to it, and everything he pulled out was no where close in look or smell. He pulled out some kushes and some LA con. Way to go buddy that is not what I asked for. anyways, theres more than 1 BT so maybe I will have a more knowledgeable one this time. All in all it was a good experience, although the BT seemed not to know his bud, he was definitely generous to give me a half eighth of master kush (i think was usually $15 a gram) for 10 bucks. On my way in for visit 2 now lets hope they are just as generous as before!

My hats off to these guys. I have been fortunate enough to have friends and family drop medicine on me the last 9 months, glad to get my renewal yesterday and hand these guys the baton. I have had my license since 18, I'm now 23, and have visited more clubs up and down the coast then most. "Christian" or atleast thats what they call him in the shop, is a tender at "562" with a wicked green thumb, most of the meds are cultivated by him; on top of that hes a chiller and is more than happy to help you out, this guy honestly reached into the tip jar for me. Not to mention created a custom order that we dubbed "Jake's Salad"
At other clubs they may have a friendly staff who may or may not be knowlegable about their strains, more than likely they will be, but rather than hook it up incredibly fat like "562" typically they are looking to get you out the door and help the next patients, and rarely let you combine strains. I walked out of there with 5 strains for 44 bucks as a first time patient. I will definately be returning. Get in there and check these guys out! You wont be disappointed.

HELL YEAH! I saw this and called (they confirmed) but I was still skeptical. So, I hop in my car for the few minute ride and...BAM! IT WAS TRUE! 7.1 for $55.00 of this bud has to be one of the best deals I've ever had (besides free). I had already tried a free sample from there before so I knew it was bomb. None of that..."I'm here for the special (and you see the strain on display)"....and they go grab some "mystery" jar in the back. Buds are BIG, grinder dense (tiny bit fluffy..but in a good way) and my nug jar, which is supposed to hold a 1/4, could only fit about 2/3.

The waiting room is never filled up and there's always parking out front or close-by. Usually very friendly ladies behind the counter that are as excited to be there as you are.
As far as the bud quality goes, I have only had a few top-shelf strains, and they will knock you on your ass (puffpuffpass), and even a lot of the 45/eighth strains have been beyond spectacular. If you're on a budget, they have fresh and usually pretty dank homegrown and not to mention sales all the time. They're gaining recognition and if you've been on the train the whole time, the ride is only getting better.
Hoping for more sativas in the future, but hybrid menu is always bomb, too.

BOGO was worth the trip ;)
I got the text from 562 to come in and get an 1/8 of Sour D BOGO and after smelling it and talking to the Budtender I took it. Also gave me a gram of Hogsbreath. Both were great! The quality of the buds are mid grade but the smoke is nice. Neither had me choked up but both gave a nice head and body high that put me to sleep which is great since I have insomnia. Loved it. Keep up the BOGO deals :)

i was glad to see a dispensary open so close to home, but wasnt expecting too much. but each time i buy medicine, i walk into a room with quality buds for a decent price, affordable clones, and happy bud tenders that know the strains of what you are looking at. tell them u need to relax and function, you get suggestions, of what to use.
i have been to many dispensaries that have some shmuck behind the counter who dont know anything and this isnt one of them. fast friendly knowledgeable service who at least hook me up... be there in 5 minutes lol....capnbast -

A few trips now to the 562...........
Ive been checking out the local dispensaries and have visited 562 a few times now. Went in for advertised strains but got there too late! All gone - However, BT's Christian and Tim asked some questions on what I was looking for and suggested the Sour D - Let me tell you, I was very satisfied. Sweet Tooth / Gorilla Kush - 8 grams 45$
Showed up to search for the an amazing Kush ... Happen to show up on buy on get one day (buy and eighth get an eighth) picked up Gorilla Kush: Stoney high relaxing but its no couch lock. Sweet Tooth is a good example of 50/50 blend, head high is mellow, i like to call it an ocular high (good for movie watching. Did get mean munchies. All in all you just cant beat 8 grams for 45$ got the extra gram for being a new patient. The atmosphere was easy, it felt like the hood verison of Cheers, every one who came seemed like they were long time patients. The BT who was running it, was calling most patients by first name. Will def be going back to see what the second time around holds.

The Chemdawg is Fire!
Visited 562 Discount Meds last Saturday. Right on the corner of 10th and Cherry. Next door to the 99 Cents store. For those of you that aren't familiar with the location, it's not Hollywood! It's the heart of Long Beach! I know a lot of you Atmosphere snobs look down on "ghetto" locations, but be honest with yourselves...You're not smoking the atmosphere.
Parking can be a problem, so make sure you give yourself some time to look for a space. Luckily, I found prime parking in front of the collective.
It's a basic set up. Reception area was decent, not too small, not too big, chairs all over and a table. I didn't catch the name of the receptionist, but she was very helpful and nice with a big smile. Paperwork took me less than 5 minutes. Once cleared, I made my way into the budroom. Was greeted by one of the guys there...Forgot your name!!! He was down to earth, chill, knowledgeable(to a point), and didn't make me feel rushed. I was the only one there though lol
I only had enough for 2 grams, so he showed me some of the $15 grams. Most were really dank! A few were okay. He showed me Chemdawg and I was hooked. I had this strain before, so I knew it wouldn't disappoint. Bright green color with light orange/red/yellow hairs. Dense! I even had trouble breaking it up...That's how dense it was!
So, I ended up with Chemdawg and was weighed heavy for my first time. 1.5 grams! At this point, I asked about the pre rolls. They have their specials posted above and I always look before going anywhere. So, I asked if they have any and the guy told me they don't sell any pre rolls. I kinda looked puzzled because I did see they not only have a pre roll special for new patients, but a happy hour special everyday from 1pm to 5pm. I let it go since I ended up getting another gram on a discount. I picked up a gram of Hogsbreath for $5. A solid compassionate strain. It was spicy, like their label says.
All in all, it was a great visit. Had trouble with the pre rolls, but I can let it slide. I just hope they're paying attention to their page. Their cap is $55, but the prime buds are at the $45 range. Walked out of there with just about 3 grams for $20. Who can go wrong with a deal like that! The budtender mentioned if I gave a review, next time I would get a spliff. So, i'm counting on it! I'll be returning for sure! Thanks a lot for the service!

Bait and switch, at least they remedied it
I have been to this co-op 5 times now and finally I am ready to leave a review. The medication they supply is good, and just about mid-range for price. There are much cheaper places around, but you can always find quality here.
My issue is that the staff is always rude. If there is an issue, it is always the customer's problem. This place offers wonderful specials, but do not expect the co-op to honor them when you come in. I came in for a buy one, get one free deal they had listed on the top of them menu. I even called beforehand to make sure it was still going on, and the receptionist said if it is listed on the menu it is still good. I go down there and of course they are unwilling to accept the deal, and only after a brief discussion did they agree to give me the special they still had listed here as of my visit.
This co-op needs to learn that you are not doing a customer a favor by giving them the promotion the co-op is currently advertising. Each time I had been in before I never had used their discount, and I know I will never be back again if it is for the special only. Like I said, they have good quality at a fair price, but their service and deceptive sales really makes this place a backup option for me.Iconoclast -

Best Prices in the LBC!
You can not beat the prices, staff, and quality in this place. This has recently become my regular spot, past couple of times i have picked up an eighth of very nice flowers for 45$ They weigh very generously every time i have been there. Atmosphere is dope, BT's very nice, daily text specials also a plus. Todays txt was 4gm/eighths any strain. Parking is tight but i have always found parking. My only problem is no ATM, i dont like the fees so i go to my bank atm now. always saving me money, thanks 562 crew.

I have been coming here about 2 months, by far the best dispensary in long beach. the staff know more about their meds then anyone i have met yet, always friendly you feel like family when you walk in.
meds for any price range $5 to $50 and the meds change every few days. you wont find pretty eyes convincing you to buy whatever. 562 will educate you on every strand they have even if there is a line you are not rushed out. This is family!!!

Very patient people!
I've been here weekly on Saturdays now for about a month. Last week I went in and had to wait a few minutes as 562 is a popular place. The BT was helping a patient that was undecided on what meds to purchase. I must say the BT was very patient and didnt rush the gentleman. Got him squared away and I picked up some top shelf Sativa. I went in on Saturday for the BOGO 1/8 of Sour D for $45 with a free 1/2 gram of Cosmic OG for my 5 star review and was going to go back for more tomorrow and noticed now it's $50 an 1/8 for mid grade Sour D, which comes out to $25 an 1/8 (no longer a great price, just a good price). That's like saying you would ever sell an 1/8 for mid grade for $50 an 1/8 and that's a no go. I'll just just go to my older high grade shops on Broadway until the prices come back to "great" here (I'm sure you'll have another deal soon). Too bad though 562 Discounts was becoming my favorite shop.

New Spot
Just left this spot as first time patient,they hooked it up FAT! The product is high quality and the prices are pretty great for such bomb product. The atmosphere here was really chill and laid back here. The neighborhood itself is in the heart of Long Beach which strangely enough makes this place seem more legit! There were 3 BT's when I went in and all were hilarious,charismatic and knew their shit! Reception was quick and friendly which I liked because I hate waiting. Parking isn't really an issue because of the lot across the street. Seriously,this spot is the shit and I'm calling it my new home! 562 you have a new deciple.

Second or third time I've been there. Good range of Med's and prices. Everyone in there was cool. Great lighting and plenty of space. Didn't feel claustrophobic like some. Now I weigh my Med's even if its just a gram. I mean, that's probably the worst time to get your whole gram pinched. But every time so far they have all been above what I ordered. Not that that's a requirement. I just wanna make sure what i order is at least what i get. If there's some love shown, Im even happier! Im a budget strapped guy so I look for quality meds at a fair price. So far, they've done a good job.

Ive been to a solid amount of dispensaries, all price ranges and bud quality. 562 is legit, they have something for EVERY ONE. Try the Icy Kush if you like heavy indicas and it is great for appetite and sleeping. This is one of their top shelves 55$ an eighth. They also have Life Saver which is good if your low and cash 16$ an eighth, and they always weigh heavy. Front desk people always nice, its all ways 1 of 3 BT's working and i like all of them. I love coming with one certain BT is working, the guy is always playing jazz. I have officially converted.

Sensi Star had us Vampires glowing in the dark
Look $55 an eigth is a hard pitch but this shop here is the most knowledgeble shop I have spent time with in Long Beach area. This this the shop where you can ditch the mids and try some real meds. The buds in this shop that cost more had the more nutrients and trimming done to them during processing. This dispensary often has Bogo deals that can be confusing, like how can you charge one price for a strain and not let someone buy it at the same deal again. bogos sometimes felt like the second eigth was 10 extra bux but thats still cool because there are not too many shops that you can trust they will hook you up consistantly and Mike and Eli and the rest of the shop will take care for you for sure. This would also be a good shop for new patients that are not knowledgable and have legit medicnal problems. People that dont like a hood feel willl feel comfortable here. This is a safe location and often exciting plants and clones to loook at and buy. I must appologize for not writing the five star reviews this place deserves I'm not thinking about medicating after I end up at this Dispensary. When I have no access to hunt down a deal in Long Beach I always go here and they will make a deal for you. I was actually short 4 $ and they helped me out.
Sensi star: I had about 3/8ths intotal. the first btch was kinda funny to me and it was a bogo. it smelly kinda musty but after cunsulting people with more experience i realized it just had an earthy smell. it was very frosty and the buds were springy to touch just right to break up or put into a grinder. it felt like a good OG basically but with a re high head high not sleepy. People kept thinking I was on something else but nope just good medicine. if you are an indica fan you will like this. I also got a second batch of this in its bets looking condition and it was basically just a nice looking version of the same awesomeness.
if you get a bogo her you wont get an double free hook up but over all you can get all types of meds for all types of budgets and I personally prefer sativa dominate hybrids and I'm still reppin this sensi star.

Lemon Fruit is whats on the container
I was in a rush and this was the last I got from here. I had no access to the internet and was on a hunt for a good med at a good price. These guys are used to me and what works best for my depression. Eli hooked me up with 7g's of this for 61$ it I wasnt impressed with the smell but if you look at my weedmaps photos you will see how well they must have cared for it during the growing and processing. I'm kinda medicated but I could write so many reviews I just plain forget to.

As usual, Christy and Christian are friendly and put you in a good mood before you even hear about the ridiculous sales most likely going on through text specials. The homegrown always impresses and the top shelf and mid level are unbeatable prices. Unlike some other places that hook you up sometimes when you're a frequent, these guys do all the time. I wouldn't normally leave a negative review but I feel the bud quality was low grade. I bought 4 different strains as a first time patient. Parking sucks, maybe 3 spaces in front if you can get one. Check in was fast and easy. Iffy neighborhood, so watch your back. I don't remember seeing security either. Larry OG and skywalker strains were OK and nothing special for $55 an 8th (I split the 8th for variety). Didn't even smell or taste like good bud. I wanna walk through the room after I smoke some bud and say, "Damn that shit smells good!" This stuff had no personality, smell or taste. Skywalker the same, at $55 an 8th it should rock my world! BOGO, bought an 8th orange haze and got an 8th of sweet tooth free for $50 total, low grade cough fest on both strains. Got a free joint and I'm scared to light it up. Friendly budtenders, they have to be how else can they move product!?!?! I spent $105 and feel ripped off by such low grade meds. Might as well just sell the bogo strains at $25 an 8th and keep it real. Come here if you live around the corner and have no car to drive and get better meds. Don't come from afar, it's a waste of gas and money. Didn't taste, smell or get me medicated like decent bud, a buzz at most. But it did look good under the magnifying glass, it was bud, it had crystals, but had no punch, all 4 strains. One harvest I had, had good looks and nice trichs, but was crap. You experienced people know what I'm talking about. Pretty, no substance. Sorry to slam ya, but honest is honest. Don't want no freebies to make up either.

Today I received some Mcfly! Shit is fire! I feel like I'm taking off with Doc Brown in the DeLorean. I never have any complaints as far as my bud is concerned--or anything else for that matter. I've been to so many collectives in Long Beach, and this one is by far the best. I always feel a true sense of camaraderie in this place,in a convivial atmosphere. You're paying for what you're getting,so I can't really complain on the prices. I'd rather pay a decent price for something I know is going to work as opposed to a clearance of a "top shelf" that does nothing for me. I don't get that here. Great Staff :)
Easy parking, easy check-in. Incredibly friendly staff. You really deserve 6 star rating on your entire staff, each and every one of you. The bud showroom is casual and comfortable, and our bud tender was emitting positivity from all around. I like that he took what seemed to be genuine pride in their buds (all of which they grow themselves.) He looked pretty young so if he really is the one growing everything it's totally cute that he's so stoked on his crops....but the fact is, quite a few of the strains were complete stress at a not-fair price. We ended up with 4.5 grams of Bubba OG, which was the only strain worth getting to be honest. If I were to rate your bud on this strain alone I'd definitely give you guys a 5, but based on what I saw and smelled, I just can't do it! The Bubba OG is great stuff though...dense sticky icky purple nuggies that give you an instant body buzz and big sigh of relief, and burn out with that pure white, clean, feather-light ash indicative of flowers that have been properly flushed. You guys would be a five star shop if you carried higher quality meds, and that's really the only con I have on your spot. Much love to you guys, I hope you get to improve, grow, and stick around Long Beach :) You have all the makings for a great collective, and great buds are inevitable with more growing experience or a better supplier!

The best in long beach, without question.
I have been to every dispensary in long beach, and simply put, this one is the best. Everything about this place stands out from the rest.
First, the staff actually know what they are talking about. It's incredibly frustrating to me when I ask a budtender to show me a high percentage sativa and they don't even know the difference between indica and sativa, or what strains are sativa dominant etc. Everyone here is incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly friendly.
Second, the price is as good as you'll find anywhere in LB (aside from places that sell what are essentially regs that is, which is all garbage anyway). I get texts nonstop with great deals in addition to the regular prices which are awesome.
Finally, the most important part...the weed is just the best. It smells the best, tastes the best, looks the best, and will get you faaaaaaaaaaaaded as hell. I don't even bother going to any other dispensary anymore because there's just no point.
Plus, when I told them about my boy Canibus, they immediately started bumping Lyrical Law. How can you not love that?pkokinakis -
Best combination of selection, price, staff, and a
I've been to this collective more than a handful of times now and in my opinion, one of the best spots in Long Beach. My go-to place. The entire staff, including the newly added security guard, have great attitudes and the bud tenders are very knowledgable.
On my first visit, I thought I recieved a fat hookup on some Sensi Star, but then I came in couple days later and it was supposed to be BOGO at 7 grams. That didn't settle too well with me, but the strain was dank, smoked great, and was still better than getting a normal eighth, so it was cool. I decided to give them another chance because of the atmosphere and the fact they've hooked up my friend every time he visits too.
My more recent visits have been great, I got to talk to a different bud tender than I haven't seen there before and suggested a lot of good strains. I ended up with bubba OG and skywalker OG, both of which were FIRE! The bud tender even said, it might not smell it, but I'm telling you it is no joke, and he wasn't lying. The Bubba OG has to be one of the best OGs I've ever smoked. I visited again a couple days later and was helped out by one of the regulars, he was enthusiastic and patient as always. Even hooked it up.
Overall, this place can fulfill all your green needs with its great selection of lower and top shelf strains. Whenever I visit, I can always expect an easy check-in process and great customer service. Furthermore, there is a parking lot across the street, which makes this place that much more accessible than most collectives. I highly recommend this place.jEnt9o -

Super Nice, Super Convenient, Love This Club!
I've never had a bad experience at this club. Its close to where I live, so its really convenient and I can walk there so it saves me in gas! As soon as I walk in, everyone is all smiles and really nice!! They have amazing prices and I've gotten some great herb for a great deal. Definetly my fave club in the LBC! YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG HERE!!!

You need to tend to those bad boys. Water them through out the day foliar feed them and your set OR Put them in a aeroponic/cloning unit for stress free work on them when they do get adopted they'll have an awesome root structure & vitality & wont be looking like I see them all the time. LOL!

My old go to place started to suck, and I am too lazy to go drive down into Belmont to deal with the horrible parking down there. 562 discount hooked me up as a new patient, got a free gram of my choice (45 level), and a free preroll. Parking is easy, paperwork was quick. They happily split 1/8ths and have very good customer service. The guy that helped me REALLY knew his stuff, very impressed. they're happy to let you examine the bud under a magnifying glass, if that's your thing. had some real nice purps too. Left happily spending $55 on a split 45 1/8, gram of some nice indica and my free gram and preroll. :)

First Time Patient
This was my first visit there at 562 Discounts & Meds... I picked up Blackberry Kush and Bull Rider.. The blackberry kush is very heavy and a good body high. I am super impressed with Bull Rider, I find it hard to come by, but sure is good! Left happily spending $90 on two 1/8th s of some nice indica's and my free preroll. Thanks Guys

I went in to get 2 grams of shake last week and the BT recommended I get pre-rolls... I got them home and I got 1 with a gram and one with .65... Not what I paid for so guys please weigh your pre-rolls and go over not under. Kinda disappointed

Best of the best
Can't say enough about this place. Not sure what the guy below was talking about, but I am a regular at this place and every pre roll I have ever gotten has been way over the weight (one gram joints are often 1.2 or 1.3). Not only that, but I can't even count the number of free pre-rolls and free grams I have gotten from these cats...they take care of their regulars in ways that NO OTHER dispensary in long beach does. Coolest dudes running a dispensary, for sure...every single person who works there is incredibly friendly.
Positive attitudes aside, the weed at this place is bomb. I don't even like Indica but their Icy Kush is some of the best weed I've ever had...the Sativas are insanely good and taste delicious (especially platinum sour diesel)...I don't even bother going to other dispensaries anymore, because the two or three times I have, the downgrade in quality was a major disappointment.
After having several places in LB overcharge me for garbage that they claimed was top shelf, I really appreciate guys who not only know what they are doing, but work to bring the best out of every strain they grow. You're not going to find regs in this place...even the cheapest strains are awesome.

Man i came here for the first time after having a bad experience at BALLAST it was cool. He hooked me up with a nice choice and a free preroll. Nice ammount in it too. The staff was cool and all about what vibe i wanted to be in. He had some great choices and took my budget into account. I would suggest anyone go and check them out. 5 stars for the high ride

The First Place I Went
562 was the first place I went after getting my rec. It wasn't the closest, but I liked their menu and location downtown. I can say that this was an excellent first experience. The budtenders were friendly, just two homies that made you feel like you're a regular on your first time.
The buds were quality and I was buying a half oz. He hooked it up fat, past 15g's. That didn't even include the free stuff. On subsequent trips, I've always left with a smile, whether it be BOGO $45 1/8ths of Gorilla Kush (the kind of strain that is at the top level of $45 and that I would never expect to be BOGO), some sweet Afghani Big Bud at $35, or the super dank Purple Laker Baker at their $20g level.
The only reason 562 didn't get all 5's from me is a single encounter with two different budtenders that was less than desirable. They were very unhelpful, didn't hook it up at all (one of the main reasons I go here), gave me popcorn nugs from the bottom of the jar, and were just generally unpleasant. On the other hand, the woman in the lobby is very nice and always recognizes me.
Overall this place makes me feel at home, and I will definitely be back soon.joeblow123 -

Awesome Spot!
562 is the shit! Went in the other day and picked up the house shake because it looked dank. Picked up an 1/8 for $20 and my boy hooked it up with over 4 grams (4.3 if I remember correctly) and then he threw in a pre-roll to top it all off. This is a true 5 star review and if you haven't been here yet you should definitely come check them out.

A GREAT PLACE
I had to move out of Long Beach for all sorts of reasons, but "man" i miss this place. They have a sweet and friendly staff with excellent medications and knowledge. My favorite pre-rolls...
I've smoke pre rolls from a lot of different dispensaries, but this place, hands down, has the best. Not only have they weighed heavy every single time I've bought one, but the house pre roll blend is just...awesome. I can't put them down...until, of course, I'm so faded that I can't pick them up anymore.
I've smoked pretty much every Sativa strain (most recently the White Jack, which tastes amazing) they've had since I've been going here and they are all awesome. I'm not a huge fan of indica usually but the top shelf OG and Kush strains at this place are insane, far and away better than any others I've seen anywhere in LB.
Add to this the fact that these guys take care of their regulars. I'm tired of saving bottles or trying to make it to a dispensary by a certain time to get a decent deal...this shop has deals all day and they give away plenty of gifts to their regulars. Best shop in LB, hands down, why go somewhere else?pkokinakis -
first time
Went by yesterday for the first time, I went by actually because the first place I tried going to was temporarily closed because these threats from the feds. Location is easy to find, plenty of parking directly across the street. Check in was pretty quick, kinda loud in the waiting room people arguing and stuff. Staff was laid back, showed me everything I wanted to see didn't rush me. The bud quality was there, some of the bud was pretty dry, but there was a lot of good looking strains. just none of the cheaper than 15 g/45 8th price looked like it was worth buying to me. I did see strains i did like, i ended up getting platinum Og, and I was gonna get something a little cheaper, and the budtender hooked it up with icy kush which is more but at a lower price, pretty cool cause he didn't have to do that. overall i walked out pretty satisfied, i only got a couple of grams and the ftp deal was cool. i would recommend this spot to anyone if its close to you. thanks guys

WENT AWHILE BACK FOR BOGO!
SO WENT HERE FOR MY SECOND CHOICE CUZ IT WAS RITE DOWN THE STREET FROM MY GIRLS PLACE HAD A BOGO ON BUY AN 1/8 AND GET AN 1/8.. BUD WAS ALRIGHT GOT THE MANGO KUSH WHICH WAS GOOD FOR A NICE BLUNT. BUT NOT SURE WHAT THE OTHER 1/8 GOT BUT THE BUD HAD SEEDS IN IT WAS LIKE WAT THE HECH I KNOW IM NEW BUT IS IT REALLY SUPPOSE TO HAVE THIS MANY SEEDS AND IT WAS KIND DRY OUT BUT OTHER THAN THAT STAFF WAS FRIENDLY.

Great Friendly Service
Just stopped in yesterday with a good friend had a great time conversation with staff about the meds and prices. This place has awesome service ( not boring like other dispensary's close by ). My first time patient deal was really good, i got hooked up on my eighth, along with a free joint. Christian was real chill, and made sure i experienced a safe relaxed time and he delivered(as in service). Sex Diamond was real potent and had that sweet sativa taste but kicked ass in the indica department as in body high. I normally play Gears of War 3 while Im stoned but this bud had me on my A game, i know off subject but good bud to keep you focus aswell. A must try if your looking for a good chron shop!

The Good:
Staff was polite and knowledgeable about their product.

Was impressed with the medication and it performed as promised (even though there was a fat seed found)?

Parking on the side streets is never fun.
Some of the older crowd may feel a little uneasy about the neighborhood.
