Compassionate Club. Fair prices and fire bud.
This place is dope. Stopped by today with my girl. She said they treated her right. And the budtender was cool. The verification went by in a breeze and we chatted it up for a bit. Said the place had been there but changed owners. This place has premium quality bud at considerable prices. I'd say the dude running this place knows what he's doing and is most def. about the customer. Picked up some fire Pineapple Trainwreck. The menu has anything your looking for.
Will most def. stop by again.

Dank City review
Great place here. Even though I am not a big fan of edibles they had a big selection including some THC pills that I had never seen before. The clones looked very healthy and ready to plant. Great selection on the meds too I guess probably 20 to 30 strains. I took home some amnesia and some pineapple trainwreck, and I have to say I was very surprised with the quality for the price and I got a free joint as a new patient. Great spot I will be back when these two 8ths run out, might have to get one of the pipes you guys had too.

The chillest, illest spot in the LBC
I really don't know where to start with this one...
Me and my buddy headed over there today after finding out that our current collective was moving. Finding the place was a breeze, it's in a great spot on PCH. They have a great parking area, so you don't have to stress about it. Check in was the smoothest I have ever experienced, maybe 3 minutes total.
The Meds:
Lemon Dew- originally marked for $40, i got this one for $35. A real fat looking 8th, a fluffy indica that really sticks you to the couch. A nice smell to it, a sort of cheesy/fruity twist. An awesome deal for 40, let alone 35.
Bubblegum- as weird as this may sound, the nugs actually smell like the juicy fruit brand gum. A sativa dominant strain that tastes very nice. A pleasant, upbeat head high that can stimulate the senses. I also got this 8th for $35, even though it was marked for $40.
Pineapple Train Wreck- all i can say is crystals. An awesome cheese scented bud with a killer taste. This hybrid is awesome. It was marked for $50, i got it for $45. I was really stoked about this one.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar: I rarely get edibles. This one tasted amazing, as in "gourmet" good. They had about 5 different flavors. I ate half of it when i got home, and i'm feeling the effects of it right now. Hash derived, too! it was $10, but you can eat half and still be sufficiently cooked.
All in all these guys were really classy. I introduced myself and they were genuinely happy to have met me. If you have doubts about checking this place out- you need to get rid of them. I don't think i will be at any other dispensaries for a while, this place has my heart.

Great medication with a reasonable price, every time I go into Dank City I come out satisfied. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always trying to make sure your happy and get what you want. They are very reasonable, better than fair. I recommend Dank City to someone trying to find an all around balance between bomb meds and compassionate listings.

My visit to DC
I came to dank city a couple of weeks ago and found the place ok,Verification was a breeze chatted it up with the guy working there for a bit and then let into the budroom. I only had $45 to donate so i was looking at their 40-45 strains, I went with the green crack wich was the best no doubt compared to the other strains. Once I made my selection they showed me their other strains. Some strains were kinda leafy and stemmy deff not worth the price . They told me i had a choice of $5 off or a free gram of o.d. kush, I went with the free gram wich was penetrated with seeds, but the green crack is very nice they hooked it up with a nice big nug and when i break it open its just beautiful. The staff is very cool and very chill good thing they opened the door for me before I knocked the location is kinda sketchy

With a name like Dank City how can you help but not check it out? Well with that said I've had the pleasure of visiting my local neighborhood collective! Sadly to say though I was very very dissapointed with the quality and price of the meds. Most of the strains looked outdoorish, and they did not look like they were grown properly pr with care.
The staff is real chill though and represent it the way it should. Just hope they change vendors and prices because these are not grower direct prices!
Update: Bud quality has improved dramatically with Dank strains like Louie, NYC & LA Diesel, LA Con and Skywalker. The problem is still the pricing capping @ 60.
And the staff is still the chillest staff in LB by far!SupaBad88 -

Getting there and finding it was easy.
Good parking which is always good =)
Verification was ok it took like 5minutes.
All good staff EXCEPT one extremely rude older white guy. He talks with an attitude and after i asked him if there was any first time patient specials he gave me a dirty look and slowly walked away after i signed in..I asked if he was the owner or just staff and the other staff said it was a friend of the owners. Another patient and I started making small talk about the older guy and he even said when he is working that he would rather go to another med shop or just wait until another employee can help him. BAD DECISION FOR THE OWNER TO LET THAT GUY WORK IF THEY WANT CUSTOMERS TO KEEP COMING BACK.

Big Difference the second visit =)
I went back a couple of days ago and wow!BIIIG difference without that rude white guy =)The atmosphere this time was so welcoming and was good. I swear if that white guy is there again ima just come back another day when hes not but anyways... The rest of the staff was SUPER cool they helped me out to find the perfect bud for me PURPLE MR NICE GUY. thats the PURPLEST and fattest nuggs i have ever seen. They are so purple they go from purple to black on the tips and woaaah it has a billion crystals. Anyone who goes here should just ask for the purple mr nice just to check how crazy it looks =) thanks dank city! and merry christmas!

I have been here a few times now. i was very happy with the selection and staff, though once they were low on choice, but i would guess that happens from time to time. the prices were great, there was almost always a great selection of grams at prices lower than 20. for me that was great.

Amazing New Location!!!! This is my NEW SPOT!!!
WOW This place really stepped it up!!! The parking is awesome, they have there own huge lot to park. Next the new location is way classier than the old one in the ghetto!!! New staff that knows the meds and great meds 2!!!! I am so happy that this place changed it up and got this awesome new spot. I will be a regular here for the LOUIE XIII.

went here ona late thursday night to pick sum up cuz i saw they had free gram for new patients and the reviews were kinda good so i decided to go...its not hard to find has a big green cross on the right..i got verified in 5 mins has a really big waiting room idk why cuz the bud room is reall small u have no space for urself and the menu on here isnt what they have only sum of it..so i asked him about the free gram and he told hell give me shake but i bought a 8th of sum alright for 50 called p91 it was dry i tell u that..but overall it was alright but i got better spots in lb..

New lower Prices capped @ $50 is great.
$50 is a great price to spend on top shelf OG's, and Dank City can provide a pretty good selection of flowers as well as some yummy edibles, like breakfast cereal bars that kick it up a notch, but taste great too!
These place has experienced growers and bud technicians that will get you the flavor you love the most.
Just check it out yourself and see. The location is easy to get in and out of without parking hassles of Downtown LB nightmare. I would like to see some sexy young girls working here, but then who wouldn't ;)~
They are getting in more and more everyday and within a few weeks this place will have just about every variety and flavor. If your a floater that just goes from place-2-place looking for a first time freebie, then you will never know the brotherhood and friendship that they will provide to you on your second-third time visits. Glad to be back with Dank City, they never fail to let me down.. I have been going to them for a while now, and have never really had any bad meds from this place, glad that they moved and got a better facility and more professional staff.. Could be a bit more compassionate on the scales tho, but Fire when your willing to spend to get that giraffe coochi HIGH... Have chopped it up with the owner a few times even about work there due to staff not being on they job.. Overall the meds are worth it, just wish that they would get back to being Dank City Home of The $10 grams, so that when $$ is funny I can still come down there and snatch something up.. A remember that Rico will be back, got patient loyalty for the City.. Got showed some patient loyalty a couple nights back from the owner and his last worker due to getting ready to close.. Try them out, and let them know Rico sent you or not dont matter to me.. Just hit them up and see for yourself..

clean, quick, and easy
i looked this place up on weedmaps lookin for something to hit right off the 710-405 area on my way home, they are off the willow exit off the 710. i was really surprised how easy it was to spot, big green building with a green cross, and their OWN PARKING LOT! ok maybe i liked that a bit too much but i felt a lot safer comin out with my meds and putting them away in my car. better than parkin behind the dennys or something and having to walk down the sidewalk. as for the shop, meds and staff. it was clean and cool vibe, the meds were great, lots of variety. they got grams at like 10, 12, 15 and your top shelfs at 20. some of them 12 dollar grams looked pertty damn bomb too, specially for 12. i grabbed some mr. nice and louie and got me a free gram of shake that i used to roll one up. the staff were friendly and helpfull so overall a cool first visit. ill be back on my way home from work again, im sure.

I've been going to this place since they opened so I feel like it's time I write a review. I don't know why anyone was hating on this place... I feel safer getting my medicine here then any other place in town. They have a HUGE dedicated parking lot and I don't think the SECURITY gates inside are for decoration.... It is clear that the owners spent more time making the place secure and safe for their patients then "pretty to look at..." which is fine by me!
Also, if you are the type of person who goes to a collective looking only for their cheapest eighth, THAT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO GET!
These guys have the best OG in town...especially their Louie XIII mmmmmm haha! Ever since I first tried the Louie XIII OG strain I've been obsessed and on a constant mission to find dankest louie nug. This place has REAL louie (unlike some of the fakers in town who wasted my time), they have a really friendly and knowledgeable staff (which is great if you aren't!), and they got pretty dank nugs when you're on a budget.

for all the gates you have to go through to see the bud, you'll wish it was better. i think this spot has potential but the buds were overpriced and the quality was poor. out of like 20 strains, only a few looked like medicinal quality. i dont like to give bad reviews, so i did note that the parking was easy. this place is close to my friend's house tho.. so hopefully it's better if we ever go back.

-After going through Fort Knox (middle cage was a COMPLETE waste of space),I was actually anticipating making my purchase. I mean, if they put this much effort (and maybe even money) into their security, they HAD to have invested equally into their product,right?.....Wrong.
I'll give it to them..they DO have low priced buds....but the issue isnt in the price-its in the QUALITY. Per my usual routine,I went STRAIGHT for the top shelf. After being thouroughly dissappointed I decided to check a few lower quality strains (you never know)..... Again,....disappointment.
Not wanting my trip to be a COMPLETE waste ( I live in Downtown LA and was visiting friends), I settled ( and I stress the fact that I was settling) for an eighth of the PRe 98 Bubba. I alsotook a look at their,dare I say,edibles.....

Got shorted almost a gram
I'm just gonna be honest... I was not satisfied at all.
Referrals got a gram of shake, which was stress with stems. .
New patients got to roll the dice which were uneven & seemed to be fixed they kept jumping. The prize was a stale swisher which broke instantly. I don't even smoke stress or blunts so I threw it out.
The staff wasn't knowledgable of their buds. The budtender seemed distracted and didn't seem to know what she was doing.
The bud was not good but I ended up getting a eighth of top shelf which was supposed to be 4.0 grams but when I weighed it at home it was 3.1 VERY DISAPPOINTED!!racheld420 -

This place is professional, it wasn't the normal stoned people behind the counter telling you everything is dank or AWWWE man this is FIRE. I went in here expecting it to be a normal club but was surprised when I went there 3 doors to get in and the bud tender knew all about the buds from smell to taste. It wasn't a hot girl that knew nothing either it was a mustached fellow that knew what he was talking about. I asked for a good sativa and got Pure Power Plant. Definitely was DANK. Dont know why it was 45 and not 50 but more for me right? Overall Awesome experience and it was nice not to feel forced to get something i didn't want.

Not too Shabby
Well I wish dank city would be a little more clear on the whole home of the 6 gram 8th thing.. cause I was under the impression all 8ths were 6 Gs for first timers. boy was I wrong. They only had one strain for the 6 G special and it look like some low quality mid shelf and the price was $50 for the 6 grams so I guess you get what you pay for, no deal there. Anywase I split an 8th of blue dream with my friend and we got to roll the dice witch was also cool. I got a sticker and my buddy won a free pre roll but they were out of pre roll so he got a small edible instead. I would have personally prefered like .5 of some dank instead of a preroll but its all good so yeah. The Blue Dream was nice and heady and fairly priced. The bonus was the staff all seemed like real chill dudes.. Over all I give dank city a B+. Keep up the good work guys

Good Budz
Came here right after getting licenses a week ago, took a while to register and the dude wrecked my paper rec. but i got two others *shrug* anyways, the buds here are super bomb looking and smelling, Ive been to dispensaries back in 2009 and prices have calmed down a bit in the LB area.
decent BT, hooked me up with some juicy widow 1/8, looked awesome, good stuff for the $$, also picked up blue dream 1g and got kicked a sample of sugar kush i think it was, i forgot i was so blown... good stuff, decent prices, closer to me than others. First off I would to say hello and a good day to all who read. I really like this place, and it has so much potential to be better, so I left star room for improvement. If you got it, come here, but if you short then well, I'll just say the top shelf shake should be TOP Shelf or change the name. As far as 10 dollar quality you might get lucky about 68% of the time, but I mean it's a thin line between mid grade and low-grade. You get what you pay for so if you hit this spot go big or go else where. Now for the ballers who got it, Best Top Shelf in location hands down, always a huge selection on that fire Ish.

got an 8th of king louie 13th. after trying a bowl from my friend i had to check it out. she hooked up my 8th fat. that louie is really potent tho watch out! seriously! they have a PARKING LOT in front which makes it super accessible. the budtender was really chill 2. if im ever in the area again i will be stopping by. thanks!
