Great prices and friendly staff.
This place is great. I started going here after NBD closed down a couple weeks ago, and all I have to say is A++. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the flowers is at its best, not to mention the prices "PERFECT". This place has found a loyal customer. If you haven't been here yet, you have to stop by and look at the menu.

1st time visit
I stopped by tonight for the first time and had a good experience. My sign up was done by the security guard (cool dude) and it was quick and painless. Next, I went into the budroom and the budtender showed me some decent choices. I ended up picking an eighth of Kushage and a couple edibles. I would like to see a few more choices of top shelf indicas on the menu.
When I got home, I noticed I paid for 2 max strength bars but received 1 max strength and 1 regular strength. I called them to let them know and they said "no problem, stop back by and we will fix it". I'm dissapointed I have to go out of my way to have it corrected but these things happen.

Best Dispensary EVER!!!
I would like to first thank Happy Wellness for opening a store close to my house, 2nd I would like to say this is the best dispensary I have been to. The employees are all nice and very helpful. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes before I was helped. The prices are great and the fact that you get a 10% discount WITHOUT a coupon every time you go is amazing and probably the only place in town that does that.

Best Prices Near My New Residence
I do my research when I smoke, and that's how I came across Happy Wellness Center. Surprisingly, their location is pretty nice. I came from the LA area and some of the dispensaries are downright sketchy with homeless dudes scattering around. The security guard is huge and super friendly. Everyone in the staff is nice and professional. They all seemed to be in a good mood that night. Hope this continues, the dispensaries I used to go to in LA were more business oriented. That's it. Also, the bud barber edibles were awesome. I'm starting to like edibles now, but still consider them a luxury.

of the 2 clubs in Newark if you are looking for good medicine at a good price go here...the top shelf is almost identical to any other top shelf at another club and you can get an eight of decent bud for 20 bucks can't beat that

Been here more than once now..... really nice, spacious, and modern inside. Guards and staff are really friendly and welcoming... budtenders are cool... nice setup of products.
Prices are great from $19 8ths - top shelf at 55 no higher. Great on the wallet, nice rotation of strains

No time to chop it up.
Budtenders should learn not to small talk with patients. I watched them send someone away and threaten to call the police because of the patients reply to the tender. Not very formal and also very rude of them as it was only 5 minutes before closing time.

I really liked using this dispensary! Everyone is extremely friendly and i was happy with the quality of the bud i got. Staff was helpful and i could even joke with them. Was great and on pricing so i will definitely be revisiting this club, especially cause its soo close by. Id like to see any additions they are gonna add!

LOVE this place!!! The staff is super nice and friendly, the quality of the weed is fantastic! The spa-like interior is large, clean and nicely decorated. (And they play reggae, mon! Yeahhhhh!) They even offer free coffee and tea while you wait. Keila (the manager) was so nice and helpful.
My partner loved the brownies and he said the quality of the weed is superb. In addition to the brownies, I got some Madasgar Thunderfuck, Head Band, and WOW. For a freebie they gave me some Chemdog. ALL very tasty, high quality stuff.
They're located in a strip mall so parking is not a problem. LOVE LOVE LOVE Happy Wellness Center and although it's a little bit out of the way for me, this is the place I will be going to whenever I need to stock up, because they have all the qualities I look for in a dispensary: Location (has to be in a safe area), cleanliness, quality of products, and a friendly staff. This place was a great convenient stop on my way home from work last week. Verification process was a breeze, security was poliet and all the ladies were super nice too.
All of the staff are super friendly and Jason is a pretty cool guy and knowledgable about their meds. I'll definately be coming back.

The place you HAVE to try
Deals here are over the top (Really though, can anyone compare?) The bud quality, the atmosphere and the staff are truly top notch. If you are a local or are just in town from somewhere else in CA I definitely recommend you stop by to see what a real collective is doing to change the way these collectives operate.

New Dispensary in Newark
Nice building,lots of parking,friendly staff. Only about 12 strains & no concentrates yet. I'm sure the selection will be enlarged as they get up to speed. Pricing & quality are commensurate,you get what you pay for. Looking forward to many repeat visits. If you're getting tired of driving to Berkeley,Oakland & SanJose this dispensary is well worth checking out !!!

Went in because I was in the area and in need of picking something up. First time in amd i couldn't find anything worth buying, all of the bud besides the top shelf was disgusting and the top shelfers were not worth the price (49). When i looked this place up it seemed like the place to go for a cool deal, for me just a waste of time.

Very nice club
Awesome place with fantastic bud. They've got a nice staff and a great atmosphere (along with free coffee/tea while you wait to be verified). Would highly recommend if you're in the East Bay and looking for a club comparable to, if not better than, the ones you could find in Oakland, Berkeley and San Jose. Edibles were delicious. Can't recommend this place enough!

I use to have to go all the way to san jose for buds, thats a 30 min car ride i can do with out. this spots is 10 min away and they got some nice prices and buds. even the free 8th was good a good smoke. friendly staff, good buds, cheap prices, what more can you ask for?

Outstanding Club
From first view this is a class operation. Good location with more than adequate parking. It is reassuring that there is full time on-site security.
The staff is great being very courteous and caring. They are very helpful especially for us "first timers". For my wife and I the location couldn't be better as it is literally right around the corner. This location is definitely worth checking out. If you don't or can't drive it is on a primary bus route.

Ok I am not from Newark in fact i live 7 hours away but i was up there working and since i am always somewhere else in cali i am always looking for a good place to pick up my meds. Anyways when i searched for a place Happy Wellness poped up and another place but since this place was open on sundays i went here. The ladies working that day were very helpful,nice and real sexey. I got an 8th of that WOW and got a free 8th of the green genie wich was good but the WOW was great. I see alot of different Dispensary and i like this one the best. I wish I could have stoped by one last time before i left but my work sent me to another place in cali to work. But I would have got back to this place if i stayed or even lived up there. The girl from Brazil help out alot cause of her voice it was hot. but movin on if you live in Newark or even near Newark you should go there trust me. Ok im done with this review. Oh yea to the girl from Brazil thanks for all the help and if i didn't have to work i would have never left the place that also goes for the one at the front desk 2. my first visit
Today was my first time to this dispensery, didn't know it existed. got lost on the way there only because my nav system failed me. I called and the woman on the phone was very polite and told me the cross street and other business in the complex. rather easy place to find after that. the security guard opened the door from the inside and was a pretty cool guy. its a rather large place for as little they have inside ( not a bad thing, more suprised if anything) after the woman called in my req while I filled out the paper work. I went into the " bud room" very large with plenty of room and nice atmosphere. walked up and talked to the budtender told him what I liked. he offered the pk but it was to leafy for me. but it had a good smell and fosty. I looked at the Mr. purple nice guy. with the smell and look I chose that. 39$ for an 1/8 even thoe the weed maps menu says 29$. oh well this quality at HS would have cost me 45-55$ plus I got a free 1/8 of journey for my donation and being a first timer. I hope in the future they will get more of a selection. but I was pleased with what I saw and yes the 2 girls that were working there were the very beautiful. the blonde budtender and the woman with the tattoos at the front desk. I'm 100% sure I will return

Great Product. Horrible Lobby Staff
I have visited this place many times since they opened and decided to do a review. They have great selection considering they have only been open since the beginning of Sept.The place looks great and feels comfortable,who ever designed the place did a great job. The Budtender's are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly, as well as funny.I feel like family when I visit this place. I wish I could say they same things about the greeting I receive from the Security Guard and some of the Receptionists.The Sec. Guard is rude and seems more interested in talking to the ladies working the front desk or people than doing his job.And they have a girl working the desk that is out right rude and seems like it's an issue that you are attending her establishment. Good thing they have great service inside the Bud room, as well excellent products. Just wish they had more selection in edibles and maybe some hash or something. Overall great place if you can put up with the Guard and Receptionist.

The shop seemed rather new, but everything seemed really nice. Bud books to read, chill security guard and front desk. The two guys at the back seemed a bit stoned(?), but they were pretty chill. Good nugs for a great price! Definitely the best(not to mention one of the only) dispensary in the Tri-City area!

This review is long overdue by now. Checked this place out since it had opened pretty recently. I was greeted by a huge smile at the front desk the second that I walked in. The girl working at the front was extremely friendly and really tried to make newcomers feel at ease.
The product was ok, not on the same plane as top places in more established locales. They don't sell concentrates either. However, the quality of service and positive attitude of the staff ensured that I left happy. They really were quite friendly, and I hope they stay that way for future visits.bunchies -

My second visit I can truley say it was as good if not better then the first. They kept their word on the credit they promised me. I picked up another 1/8 of the purple Mr. Nice guy. I ended up at this fairly new collective to see if I could find good meds a bit closer and have been pleased so far, having been here only twice. The prices and variety are a good deal, even in the event that the local 13% tax is added to donation. This didn't happen my first time so I'm not sure how that works, but even so the asking donation for quality ranges from good to great. The quality of the flowers has been what I look for; good quality I'd say. The budtender was also quite helpful when they were out of the strain I was looking for, and made a good recommendation. The flowers were prepackaged and might be a bit dry at times (probably related), but that was not an issue for me. The free gift for ftp wasn't top shelf, of course, but I was well medicated all the same.

My first experience visiting a dispensary was at Happy Wellness. They made my first visit, and each subsequent visit, a great experience. The staff at the front door were very nice, friendly, helpful, and above all, made me feel right at home. The herb expert answered all of my questions, was also very nice, and made some great recommendations. Great location, great products, great staff, great establishment. Great Place!
I've been to this dispensary three or four times now, and I plan to continue. The entire staff is extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with, unlike some other places I've visited. Returning patients get a 10% discount, which pretty much makes up for the tax. I went there and was not given the discount once, and when I returned the next time with my receipt, the manager (Kayla?), was happy to adjust my purchase to reflect the discount. They are a new dispensary, so every time I go there they have something different. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality buds!

new door in Newark. bud quality is b grade . not impressed . free schwagg sack 1/8 for newbies or apply 19$ towards their "top shelf". overall I won't be back. I bought 1/4 of their quality which was white widow x gdp. and og kush.. both were b grade quality with light smoke . which is a shame cause for the 92$ I spent I could have went to my street dealer and scored a half oz. of better flowers. if its not one thing its another but it seems dispensaries are becoming more obsolete

The Joog
***Disclaimer: This is my experience, don't knock it until you try it. As you may notice, this is the main place I come to pick up meds.
Bud Quality:
Out of the dozen or so times I've been there I've had mostly great cuts and good quality bud, I'd stay away from the Wow it's not too great from this club and at the time I bought it, it was Top Shelf but so far they've knocked it down a notch, its been getting bad rep from my smoke circles.
The White Widow X Grand Daddy Purple was real harsh on the exhale and the cuts I received were wack (they don't really let us choose what batch to take home)although it did the job and laid me out most of the time when I let it lock me into the couch.
I tried a regular strength Sativa Jolly Lolly and it was weak for me but I'm not sure what tolerance others have, I'd opt for the extra strength if I wanna give it another try (which I haven't yet).
My Top 7 List of Favorite Strains from HWC:
1. NYC Sour Diesel/Incredible Hulk TIE
2. Master Kush
3. Sour Diesel (Not sure if this is the same as the West Coast Sour Diesel they now have on menu)
4. Purple Mr. Nice Guy
5. Headband
6. Heavy Duty Fruity (Broke down too finely but still a good smoke)
7. Happy Sack
Favorite Edible so far: Bud Barber Brownie 3 dose (had to eat it all to feel the effects)
Atmosphere:
I had a chance to really enjoy the magazines and books while sitting in the comfy, extra spacey lounge which included free coffee and some reggae playing in the background, most of the time I'm in and out of there fairly quick but today I must've came at a busier time, staff is always friendly and other patients seem to always be in a mellow or good mood (hence this is the Happy Wellness Center).
Staff:
I don't know what it is about me but I have this thing with Brazillian women and the Manager just so happen to be one, everytime I hear her speak English in that Portuguese accent of hers and... Oh wait, ummmmm the staff is very nice, respectable, smiles, and did I mention the budtenders know their stuff too! Although I did have a bit of a bad experience today when the menu here on weedmaps said the NYC Sour Diesel is $45 but when I got there I got charged $49.. Oh well it's just one bad experience I've had out of the dozens of times I've been here.
Accessibility:
Being a Tri-cities local this center is the most convenient and the closest to me, I used to go to NBD but that place is just way too seedy looking for me and plus it's been shut down several times already, if you wanna know why ask around I'm sure you'll find out the reasons (unless I'm just way too informed).
Price:
Nothing can beat the prices at HWC and I always wondered how this place keeps the prices so low.. and it dawned on me. The bud is all outdoor grown and that's how we are able to get these "Joog"ernaught prices!... Actually, I heard this from a fellow smoker in my smoke circles (I guess I am way too informed).

Great Dispensary
This place opened about a month or so ago. What can I say other than check this place out. Their combination of staff, price selection and, for me, location make it my favorite local dispensary so much so that I gave them a 5 in price and I generally don't give 5s. It's in a nicer area and the building and insides are very nice with ample parking and doesn't resemble a speak-easy or opium den. Staff is courteous and generally good humored.
Their selection and prices of their inventory is outstanding. If you want to go top shelf they have some quality at a very reasonable rate. Their value priced offerings are better than some top shelf from other dispensaries.

i went here on my first time the free 18 was really good...i went today as weel with my brother and he got some purple cadillac it was good as well. it was a little hard to find the first time but it's actually alot closer than the clbs that are in hayward. the flowers are real good and reasonably priced. GO THERE the staff is very friendly as well i couldnt go in to the back but i still was having a good conversation they didnt' just ignore me

worst experience ever. asked for a quater of some indoor, not only did it not weigh out but when i smoked it, it was outdoor! i went back to get my money back and they refused to give me anything! not even a discount towards a future purchase. i decided to give happy wellness another chance went in bought an 1/8th of their "top shelf" yea that was garbage, tasted like shit and was pretty dry. all that aside there wasnt a very wide selection. the staff seemed bored and like they didnt want to be there when i asked questions most were answered with "i dont know". complete waste of time and money.

Happy at Happywellness
Happy wellness has been my go to club for a while now and i have no complaints about their club or service.
I love the atmosphere of the club itself the employees are great the real make you feel welcome and aren't pushy at all.
i have not been hassled by any of the staff members including the security they are very welcoming
unlike some of the other dispensary.
you guys are very clean and organized giving your customers a clear mind set to what they are buying.
I love the prices i don't know anyone who can keep those prices the low and its very good on the customer during this kind of economy.

The staff is really friendly. I went there one morning, and they made coffee and hot chocolate for all the patients. Which I thought was pretty cool. All I gotta say is if you have time to stop by then you should . This club I will always go too.

Happy Wellness center is a great establishment. I have been going there for about almost 3 months
and every time i went there i was always satisfied. When you first walk in they greet you nicely and are very cordial, then u go in the back to see the bud tender he is very mellow and there to help you, he is pretty knowledgeable about the selection and has helped me decide numerous times. I think its great every time i come in, there is always new product and i like the selection. Keep up the good work and i will be glad to keep coming here opposed to going elsewhere.metalhead510 -

Great first time experience!
I had a great first time experience with the Happy Wellness Center. Looking for this place, I passed it up with intentions of finding your average small cannibus club. When we came back around to it, I was surprised to see a large, well-lit and well maintained location. The staff is excellent, the security guard was very cool, the check-in person and the bud tender were also very friendly and engaging. Your first time 8th special is unmatched, I haven't seen any club with this offer! I've only been this one time, but I will definitely be returning.

Great service and friendly staff. I was a new patient and the choice of medicine was pretty overwhelming. The experienced staff was very helpful in explaining the different options. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is exceptional. I purchased a cannabis pill after I explained I am not an experienced smoker. They even explained the dosage of their different edibles and pills to help my decision. They were much more interested in getting me the right product rather than most expensive. I highly recommend Happy Wellness Center whether your a new patient or an experienced smoker.I will definitely be returning for my cannabis needs. =)

ive never been treated so good by ANY buisness!!! medical or otherwise!! the staff will honestly make you feel at home!! one particular staff memeber went totally out of her way to help me! alyssa was wonderfull, (i think that was her name, i have a horrible memory hahaa) she really expressed joy and pride in her work and made me feel very comfortable!! give that girl a raise or atleast free medication!! i gotta give props to whoever is hiring the staff too, great job! and the selection??? AMAZING!! the highest grade hydroponics around!! no question about it!! now i just wish they would open a shop in SD..... that would really take off! keep up the good work!!!

Man it's easy as hell to get signed up the faster you write faster your signed up quick easy painless process.To add to that the staff is amazing they are extreamly friendly and help you find exacttly what you are looking for they always have a house favorite thats the one i always get might cost a little more but hey you ever herd of you favorite meds being cheap and if you dont have enough for top shelf you can always buy one of there specials for 19 dollars and 8th. by far best club in this area. I have been a member since the first week they opened, and been a return member ever since. They started out very humble beginnings but have expanded on the positive end of the scale. I admit the bud quality jumped up a few notches.. ESPECIALLY the value strain shelf ($19.00) 8th's! Don't believe me come in and see for yourself! Its conveniently located, sharing a plaza with a liquor store and a pizza parlor! The staff here are great people.. no ones perfect.. there has only been 2 times I encountered minor setbacks.. but all those problems were quickly taken care of as soon as I walked through the club doors! Exceptional establishment! Keep up the good work! I'd like to see this dispensary expand and develop to even bigger and better things!

Glad I live in Fremont and Happy Wellness is close by. This place has a very cool vibe, really good prices (best around this area for sure), some good quality 420, and beautiful & friendly staff. Never have a problem when I go there.

my first time was ok , my second time i was given the wrong meds, third time they mislabeled there prices and would not honor there own mistake. forth time they had nothing good in there jars, certin members of there staff are very helpfull. but on my 2nd visit the lady budtender didnt even want to help me,3rd visit i shared my veiws of what strains im intrested in and the main lady was giving me a stink eye. i hope this club can pick up the pace because it could be a great place

This collective is looking out for their patients', with everyone else jacking up prices for overhead, they keep it real and simple. No BS, just good product at awesome prices, no one else in the bay area is this compassionate to their patients' needs. Picked up the lemon og, kinda dry but still smoked well and had that citrus undertone on the exhale that I like. Price was crazy cheap...like I stole it, and if your on a budget it's just right.
The young ladies here are not just lovely to look at and chat with, kinda distracting(in a good way), but they are knowledgeable about their product, so don't be fooled by those pretty eyes. Thanks Bella...;)grub367 -

You really cant beat the prices at Happy Wellness Center. Yesterday i got 2 1/8's for 41.00 and some change! Both are fire. As a woman, i usually go to clubs and i am the only one in line. At Happy Wellness most of the staff is women so that's a nice change and i am sure the guys like it too. If you havent checked out this club, i highly suggest you do. If you just checked it out to see the prices alone, you will not be dissapointed!

The happy wellness center is really easy to find compared to other dispensaries. they have a good selection of strains from hybrids to pures. the prices are fair and the staff is decent. THE GOOD: registration is a breeze, front desk staff makes everything quick so you can get right to picking out your buds. once inside, they have a large show room including a decent selection of edibles and buds. simple pricing, 1/8ths are very resonably priced from 19-49 and they weigh them heavy. every 1/8th i bought was about 4gs. THE BAD: not much is bad here. the staff is ok. they seemed pretty distracted so i didnt get the one on one i was expecting. also, behind the counter i could see bags of buds sitting right on the floor, so cleanliness is a concern. there also was a lack of security. no guard at the door, it seems as if anyone can walk right in. they also messed up my order a bit but i got mostly what i wanted at the price i was expecting. Overall, i would tell my friends about this dispensary, but just be prepared for seemingly relaxed security.
