Worth checking out.
It's a tiny purple building but its worth going into. The staff is really nice, especially the owner. They have a good selection of bud. Lots of edibles and drinks.

Great Place
Green Joy is one of my favorite dispensaries. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, and the owner is really personable and knowledgeable. The place is really easy to access and has its own personal driveway. The inside is my favorite because I love the atmosphere and look of the place. They also offer a lot of edibles, drinks, candies, and a nice selection of bud. I have never seen their stuff out of stock. The quality is great and at a great price. Keep it up Green Joy.

One of my favorites :)
I've had good experiences with this club so far. I like that the bud is on top of the counter and I can just check them out as I want. They weigh it in front of you, and the staff is very nice, One time I was there, and the lady behind the counter made me feel very comfortable, since it is usually guys. They take credit cards, which is a big plus too. And it's kinda cool how the club glows purple outside, LOL. the cheapest bud I have seen there is $45/eighth and it's good, not bomb, but does the job well ;) I'll be a regular customer :)

I'll probably never come back to this place. The first time I went, one of the tenders was surprisingly pushy, trying to get me to buy some Silver Pearl, which I did. And then he gives me a joint, saying it was their gift to new patients was, which was cool, but on the board behind him it said new patients got a free gram. When I mentioned this to the tender, he told me I could have another joint. What was the deal with this guy? At this point, it was so awkward that I didn't press further. I took the extra joint, which I still have. I didn't get what the big deal was, but this all made me feel pretty uncomfortable.
I came back a second time when I had a throat infection, inquiring about teas or edibles since I wasn't up for smoking and wanted some relief. On this visit, the two different tenders I dealt with were pretty nice. Unfortunately, none of the tenders could recommend any of the edibles or the drinks, and I appreciated their honesty and didn't get anything.
The silver pearl wasn't that great and I still have some left that I likely won't finish. With all the other great places in the San Diego area, I have no reason to come to this place.odb-sd -
Decent place, but low quality meds
Good prices, a good selection of buds, and a friendly staff when I walked in my first time.
I got the top indica and sativas, skyhero and blue dream. I just got done smoking the blue dream and started the skyhero, and i'm not that impressed by the two top buds the place had to offer. I also got a strawberry soda, which tasted great, but had a mild effect for a twenty dollar value. You also get a free gram if you bring in a coupon your first time. Not great stuff, the place's own weed, but still decent to smoke. It's a very nice place, but the mild quality of medication is going to be the reason I don't come back.miked198 -

Awesome!
I've been other places, and this one is my new favorite. On my first visit, couldnt have been easier. 5 minutes to verify me. In the door. Everything is out on display so you can see it all on the counter. The owner and girl that helped me were fantastic and very friendly. The process was so easy. I actually enjoyed talking with them while there. Its small, but very easy to access and get in and out quick if you're often in a hurry like me. Prices are good, got some sweet stuff for $60. They weigh in front of you which is ideal. But the buds were superb. Master Kush and Skywalker were amaazing. I love this place, its my new go to shop.

Good place to check out
This was my first visit to a club and I am glad I chose this place. Really convenient right off the freeway. It took less then 3 min to be verified. Staff was really cool and helpful. They hooked a free gram for first timers. The bud quality is solid and everything is laid out so u can smell it and look at it with a magnifier but just no touching and a good variety of buds. They even split up 2 kinds for an 1/8ths for me(that sold me right there + they took credit card. Overall great place plus there is a cute girl that works there. Great place will definitely go back.

Way better selection than last time.
Yesterday afternoon I hit up Green Joy. Its close by and I hadn't been here in a while. I only picked up one strain and a free sample, last time I went. I looked on WEEDMAPS to see if they had anything new and to my surprise they had totally re-vamped the menu. Sweet. I was quickly verified and let in the budroom. The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly. I felt at ease while perusing the meds and B.S.ing with the budtender. Great open layout, able to service multiple patients. An array of edibles, concentrates and sodas are also available. So here's what I picked up:
HOG'S BREATH(sativa)- Bright predominantly orange, hairy buds. Tiny green leaves sparsely found throughout and sheen with trichromes. Soft and spongy when pinched. Has a grapey-blueberry scent, maybe lavender. Slightly sticky and breaks up easily. Tastes pretty much like it smells, but lingers heavily on the tip of the tongue. Sweet and fruity. Nice head buzz, tingles shoot up and down my spine. Not terribly strong, but a good wake-n-baker.:)
CHILI(sativa)- I picked this one because of how crazy it looked. Triangular, beautifully colored with hints of purpley-lavendar. Hard and crispy, dense nugs of fury. Odd sweet smell, kinda like a honeysuckle flower, but faint. When snapped open an aroma of brie cheese and tart cranberries. This would pair nicely with a French bordeaux, I just know it! Loads of trichromes spill onto my pollen box while I'm breaking up the nug. Doesn't taste cheesy like I thought it might, but nevertheless has a great overall taste. Good uppity feeling. This is an interesting sativa.
OAKSTERDAM OG(indica)- Saw it, had to try it. Typical looking OG. Spikey mint colored buds with copper-wire hairs and well developed trichromes. This OG, to my surprise, it's body is much softer to the touch than most other OG's I've had. Not necessarily a bad thing, just most I've smoked are more resilient to pinching. Great smell, very citrusy and sweet but this OG has layers of smell. I also get hints of skunk and a bit of earthiness underlying the main pungency. Tastes a bit like Squirt sodapop and leaves a cannabuttery taste on my tongue. Very, very smooth all the way through and expands the lungs fairly quick. The smoke is still lingering on my nose, smells like being in the woods. Great high and definately not couch-locked. This OG was done well.
EMERALD OG(indica)- This OG was down to the scraps of the jar when I found it, so I just got a little taste(half gram). I wish there would have been enough for a gram, because I love this OG. Appeared to be similar to a couple of PLANETARY strains I've had just by appearance and smell. Neon orange and green, tight little buds dipped in trichromes. Glorious. Piney and spicy, a bit of coriander on the nose. Dense, grinder is best for breaking it up, I've found. When lit, I could see the trichromes melt, good sign. Taste amazing and clean, start to finish. I almost taste something like a gummi bear or Twizzler after hitting this strain. Burns slow, very strong. I'm medicated.
This is a very cool spot and the budtenders are generous and kind. Definately happy with this experience and recommend you check them out sometime.

Good Place!
I've been here a few time! First time patients get a free gram (it wasn't that good), there prices are a little high but the staff is great and most of the bud is good, i really liked the GDP! The brownie i got was way over priced and didn't do anything, so i would stay away from those! All the jars are out and you can open them and smell and look at the bud which is nice and they way it up in front of you!

Can't complain
I am no expert but this is the 2nd best place I have been in San Diego now. I would say if you are in the area definitely check them out because they are doing good things.

Well this place is all organic meds the spot is kinda tight fit,anyways i tried the platinum bubba and it was the only thing that looked good even though it was really dry it was ok but at 60 an eight it was just that and a free gram of some even more dry stuff but cant complain about free stuff so that's what i haft to say it was not worth it for me.

Stoked
I was stoked to find that this is actually a sweet lil shop. It was extremely easy to find thanks to the purple paint and verification only took a minute. Once inside the budroom there are 20-30 strains lined up along the glass cases. The budroom is not large but I've seen much smaller. Each of the strains seemed to be great quality and well cared for. The budtender was very cool, helpful and knowledgeable. I was only going to get a gram but he informed me of the free joint for an eighth so I got a half eighth of Romulin and a half eighth of Jedi and I was quite pleased with both. They also sell edibles along with pipes, bongs, vapes, etc. $60 cap and the free joint doesn't seem bad although I have yet to spark it.

Quality = Return
Well I found this place on Weedmaps, and saw the menu board. It looked good, a little pricey, but I figured it would be worth trying. The location was easy to see, and close to the freeway.
Let's get to the point. They had a good selection of meds from indicas to sativas and real nice hybrids. I won't go into what I got, but I will say that all my choices (4), were dank! I tend to linger around the OGs & hybrids primarily. Again you'll have to pay for the quality, but isn't that what we all want. I'd love to see a $55 cap, but $60 is do-able when you clearly know you're getting great stuff. I do miss my old spots, with their $50 caps and great quality, but this place had what I was looking for. So I'm happy.
The staff was super chill. Nice people. It can get a little cramped inside, but they have a long display case that helps ease the congestion. If you want good meds, and don't care about the $60 8ths, then you will love this place. I know I'll be back. Free joint for newbies.calikid24 -
Love this Candy Shop
So after passing this tiny purple building multiple times, I decided to step in and see what it was all about. Verification took minutes, as opposed to what seems like years at other clubs. When I stepped inside, I was greeted by a beautiful budtender.
In the glass cases were what seemed like 20+ strains, dozens of different edibles, and the for the first time I saw drinks.
After a lot of debating, I decided to go with some Blue Dream [Sativa]. Definitely a good pick. The copper-white hairs engulfed a majority of the bud, and probably one of the stickier strains I've seen. It also had a small odor of what seemed like orange/citrus/some tropical shit, which you could taste on the tip of your tongue. For a Blue Dream, and a sativa for that matter, I was definitely surprised at how well and smooth it smoked.

A Must Go
i went here a while back and it was just ok. but now that have put a menu up and have a web site. so i decided to go back and check it out. and all the guys there are really cool. very fast verification walked into the bud room. and all they have r top shelf meds. so yes it is $20 a gram and $60 an eights. but its worth every penny. and there edibles are very potent and very good. a must go if ur in the valley.

Honest Review
This place is not hard to miss at all! little purple building next to a mexican food joint, perfect location.Verification: very quick! Staff: very friendly and patient(a plus for picky people like me!) The meds: are top notch as they have 20 to 30 strains to choose from. Great selection of edibles as well. Atmosphere: very laid back and outgoing.
Went with the Louie 13 damn great strain for insomnia and pain (as I suffer from both) also went with an 1/8th of Lamb's Bread, great daytime smoke. I am a big fan of OG strains and this place had plenty varieties to choose from. Well hope this helps everyone out. Good selection, but pricey
Greenjoy is one of several dispensaries on Ventura between Fallbrook and Mulholland. They have several good strains and a knowledgeable staff that seems to be compassionate and patient.
I would recommend Greenjoy to anyone that is interested in smoking some nice greens. I picked up some white widdow and was impressed. Check em out if you want some good dank.bradjung420 -
101 hwy buds
i stop here on my way to ventura cause its the last street pretty much until you get up towards santa barbara, its super hard to find nice buds in thousand oaks, which that city needs to get their stuff together and get some clinics up in it, they got a huge mall, like 2 of them. but no place to get bud. haha.
this clinic like the lots of other reviews said, is a bit on the pricey side, but the buds in return are pretty dope plus they have a nice selection of concentrates to choose from.
its not located in my area so i cant be a regular but when ever im passing on the 101 and needs weedz, i come here.chief-balsak -

This club is nice and hidden on the westside of the valley, the club looks nice, and verfication was fast enough.
I heard this place had killer rick crispes treats, so I went with the edible and a g of SFV OG.

Good selection, nice people, expensive
This is a very nice little dispensary. Very clean, professional, and a great staff. But with so many other clubs out there at 45 and 50 dollar caps I just can't justify coming here anymore. I did get one of the drinks and it didn't do a thing for me. If you want a nice club with a feel good atmosphere then this is the place for you. But if you just want to get your meds and get out I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic weed and staff, kinda expensive
This was one of the first places I ever went to, and I'll be honest i was kinda nervous. but these guys took away all anxiety right as i walked into the budroom. A counter full of meds lined up according to price. all for you to smell and check which you want to take home.
Staff was extremely nice. They hand out 4g 8ths like it's christmas every day.
My only complaint is the price. i found a lot of the stuff they sell for 15 bucks cheaper elsewhere. and on a poor patient that seems like quite a lot. Also the verification is a 24 hour one. and it's kind of a long drive from where i am. oh well. worth the drive.

Love this place!
I wish I could rate the staff higher than 5*. I went one day not knowing I had to prereg and wait 24 hours, no bigee! The awesomely nice guy at the front broke down how it worked. I came back the next day and there were 2 extremely nice girls working. Again being new the first girl at the front explained everything to me. There were 2 other patients ahead of me and the girls took their time with both. When it was my turn it was all about me. I felt so comfortable being here. I explained my pain and needs and they both helped me greatly in my choices. I live an hour away from here and its well more than worth the drive. My friend has kidney failure and needs edibles and has come here and had the same experience.

I have to say, the bud is top notch quality and freshness, lots of selection for any price range it seems. They allow patient to open jars and view up close rather than have to ask to see, which makes me feel much more comfortable and free to explore without pressure. Staff is very professional and nice. The purple and green colors give this place a special fun personality, not boring like many of the other places. They offer special coupon for free gram first time patients, and also throughout the week for all, I'm impressed with this place! Parking on street works, usually plenty to choose from.

Good bud, kinda expensive
Most cost 55 to 60 for 1/8 which is too expensive considering all the competition. Also since they own the place across the street which has a 45 cap, why is this one so much more??
Bud is good, but not moist, edibles good but again 10 for a cookie? Skywalker hash is great, I'm glad I bought that. 15.00 for a clone, is way too much considering you can find em for 5 and 8.00 a few miles away.
Atmosphere is a 10, they made this place look great which is probably why the higher prices. If your looking for competitive pricing, there are other places, but if ur looking for nice bud, nice presentation, it's worth it.BudReview -
Nice Dispensary...
This is a nice dispensary. The goods are high quality and the staff is efficient and nice.. FWIW, the women who work there are nice and attactive, which makes it more pleasant than some dispensaries.
The herbs seem fresh for the most part, and you can get up close to them since they are all up on the counter. They have s nice variety of good sativas, which is not always easy to find.
They are one of the higher price dispensaries that I have been to in recent months.. Many others have dropped prices by $5-10 since last last year, but they are still higher. I like the buds and selection so I pay for it, but I did have to mention why I marked them down in the price category.Axemeister -

went by here on last Tuesday for the first time since i was down the street checking out some corals for my fish tank on convoy. nice quiet place with a chill atmosphere and staff. They were real and appreciative even though i wasn't donating a lot that day. All kinds of great flavors priced very good. Huge range of concentrates and edibles I was also impressed with.

this place is very over priced. $60 top shelf is ridiculous not to mention unessacary. anything over $50 in my book is just plan greed.
the bud quality is so not worth it. I tried 3 different strains including a top shelf and I couldn't believe how bad it was especially for the price. I felt cheated. I will not be going back... so many other shops in the valley there is no reason u should come here.RebelGrrrl
