The ATL, Hotlanta, The A. No matter what you call it, Atlanta is a massive city with seemingly endless options of things to do. If you’re looking to enjoy the sunny weather, head to Piedmont Park where you can find countless trails and views of the city. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is also worth a visit, and the Centennial Olympic Park is worth a visit to see the site of the 1996 Olympics. The city is also full of history, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park is a great place to start, along with other stops in the hip Old 4th Ward. If you’re looking for dining options, head to Ponce City Market for casual eateries and quirky shops. After, take a walk on the Beltline to check out local breweries and take in the city by foot or bike.

Unfortunately, for all it has to offer, Atlanta has not legalized marijuana for adult-use or medicinally. That being said, the city did decriminalize cannabis in 2017 but has not made it legal by any means. Those caught with less than an ounce can still face a $75 fine. Regardless, consumers should be careful and avoid carrying marijuana in the city. We’re hopeful that legislation will change, and will keep this page updated in the future.
