New Jersey Medical Marijuana Brief Summary:

  • On January 18, 2010 Governor Jon Corzine signed the New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act.  The Law was scheduled to take effect in July 2010, however in June, lawmakers amended the legislation at the Republican Gov. Chris Christle to delay the enactment of the law until October 1, 2010

Other illness are subject to evaluation if it is a terminal illness and a doctor has determined the patient will die within a year.
