Man, this place used to be so much better. I think the pandemic really fucked them or something. I haven't been in months. They were the go-to place for me for all of 2019. Then, it really felt like the quality went down right around the lockdown. It's understandable to a certain extent, but that's not an excuse for things that never used to be problems starting to occur frequently. Mainly, the quality of their flower went severely down, it's debatable whether or not they were trying to pass off low-quality (likely just CBD) bud. There was rude service, long wait-times, sketchy service (I also had that "wait in the parking lot of Home Depot for an hour and no one showed up" experience). I miss the way The Garden used to be, and I really miss that one really friendly security guy. But I can get lower prices and better quality bud elsewhere. The Garden had a good run, but there's no reason for anyone to go there anymore, especially when the delivery services are so much better to use.

I'm an old pro when it comes to the DC gray market, been using it since 2016, and am a moderator of a online DC pot community. I've used Area 71 more a dozen times by this point, and it really is the best the District has to offer. Their prices can't be beat. Their flower is usually high quality, even their shake was good! They always put in a pre-roll that always hits, and is fun to share with friends and loved ones. Area 71 consistently remains the best service, they've always been professional and their drivers are all very nice and courteous. I'm a convert, I used to go to The Garden, but bailed after getting garbage weed a few times in a row. Why would I ever go back? Let it be known henceforth that Area 71 saved the District during the Pandemic!!!P.S. Can you guys deliver to the White House?? It's on me!! Joe and Kamala deserve the best!!
