Test for review done using a toasted hemp wrap.Presentation: A- (Definitely above average, but a little more leaf and stem on some buds than I would like to see. Above average packaging, but not premium containers like some services.GM has nice trichome coverage and excellent red hair coverage. It smells piney and earthy, with a hint of spice, and it offers a smooth and pleasing smoke that brings out the linalool. Good moisture and lots of resin to the touch.PB has a beautiful bright green hue when ground and excellent red hair coverage. Trichomes are lacking and the bud is a bit on the dry side. But the buds are plump and have an amazing fruity smell that translates into the smooth smoke.)Effects: A (This is a tough rating because across my all-time experience it would be lower. However, I think context matters, and so my rating considers the quality compared to a number of comparators all along the price spectrum. GM is as advertised a very fun and heavy indica. It comes on quickly and hard and into couch lock with no delay and ending in sleepiness and perhaps a slight headache. It is more relaxed than euphoric, but it's heavy overall. This is pretty much what I look for in bud.My wife liked PB more than I did. It is more subtle and laid back, powerful but not so heavy. I felt like I need more than the GM to be satisfied, but its flavor profile and exceptional smoothness made it a more enjoyable smoke than GM by a small margin. Overall, these are potent buds and with the other factors, the value is there (especially compared to MANY competitors). I am still looking for that two hitter quitter, but again, I'm not complaining compared to the mids that goes for top shelf at other places. Keep in mind, I'm experienced, so new or occasional friends should take care. I have four other strains that I will come back and review as I try them.
