Fairbanks, Alaska is a beautiful city located in the middle of the state on the Tanana River. While the population may only be thirty thousand, Fairbanks boasts plenty to do for locals and tourists alike. We highly recommend heading to the Museum of the North for a look at Alaska’s history. The Pioneer Park is a fun amusement park for all ages with a pioneer theme. The Morris Thompson Cultural and Vistors Center is also a great place to start your visit to learn about the area. The town has plenty of restaurants and breweries to make sure you’ll leave happy. Fairbanks is also near many outdoor activities and is close to Denali National Park.
Fairbanks also has a growing cannabis scene, with plenty of dispensaries nearby to choose from. Alaska was one of the first states to legalize recreational marijuana in 2014, and Fairbanks has seen its fair share of dispensaries open in the city. Most dispensaries in Fairbanks are open between the hours of 8 AM and 12 AM, selling some incredibly high-quality cannabis. Although delivery is not currently legal in Alaska, there are enough dispensaries in Fairbanks to make it easy to purchase marijuana. Residents may grow up to 6 plants, with three flowering plants allowed at one time. Please note that it is still highly illegal to smoke on public lands, so do not toke up while visiting Denali National Park.
