Because of recently passed ordinances, Bakersfield, along with the rest of Kern County, California does not allow any type of weed dispensary to operate within county limits. You can purchase marijuana at dispensaries in other cities throughout California and transport it back to Bakersfield, but most are unfortunately not a close drive.

Smoking on public property, including national and state parks and forests, is illegal.
