Recreational marijuana store in Hudson to open Wednesday

Massachusetts has been hard at work implementing it's new recreational marijuana program as the 9th official retail store opened it's doors last week. Temescal Wellness of Massachusetts has been working with local officials to finalize it's opening after being approved receiving the "commence operations" notice from the state's Cannabis Control Commision last month. The new store is located at 252 Coolidge St. in Hudson and is open from 10am-7pm Mon-Sat and 12pm-5pm on Sundays. The parking situation requires a separate parking lot and a shuttle, where a ticket will be given to enter the permises, to transport customers to the dispensary. Only handicapped parking is currently available directly outside the dispensary. Purchases can be made in cash, a cashless ATM system or CanPay.

Temescal Wellness of Massachusetts, which began recreational sales in Pittsfield last month, announced Monday they will open this week after working with town officials in Hudson and Berlin to “execute a smooth and hassle-free opening,” the company wrote in a statement.
