San Francisco is preparing for California marijuana legalization in 2016

California is a likely candidate to find recreational marijuana on the voter's ballot and likely to pass the law. With a thriving medical marijuana program already in place, there are many questions on what will change and what needs to be done in preparation for the likely legalization of marijuana in the state. 

“I think people know this is coming. This is not a question of, ‘Should cannabis be legalized.’ Everyone is entitled to their view. But regardless of one’s views, this is coming next year and it’s not guaranteed to pass, but we need to be ready.”
