For years it has seemed silly for police to care so much with public tax dollars about a harmless plant, but now police are cracking down on brownies...and gummy bears, cookies, chocolate--wherever they suspect marijuana. As if the drug war wasn't wasting enough time and money, we're choosing to monitor baked goods to the point of intrusion. In San Antonio police seized about $100 worth of marijuana edibles for the month of February.

In February, police in San Antonio seized about $100 worth of edibles, including brownies, gummies and chocolate. Investigators said many of the products had been manufactured in states where marijuana is legal, then shipped to and sold in states where it is not.
