Discover cannabis culture in Lansing, MI

The state capital and hometown to the legendary Ervin “Magic” Johnson, Lansing is a hidden northern gem located directly in the heart of Michigan. Most of Lansing and all of its downtown is incredibly walkable, making it easy to safely enjoy everything the city has to offer, from its museums and historic sites to its acclaimed restaurants and breweries. The Grand River winds its way through the city, spotted with clean trails and parks, and other iconic locations like the Potter Park Zoo and the Woldumar Nature Center are just a short drive from the city’s center. 

Recently, Lansing has also become one of Michigan’s hotspots for marijuana farms and recreational dispensaries. Medical marijuana has been legal in Michigan since 2008, but recreational marijuana was only just legalized in November 2018. Lansing has stepped in as one of the first cities to allow adult-use retail licenses and the overall scene has flourished because of it. Most stores operate between the hours of 9:30 AM and 9:30 PM, offering both online ordering and curbside pickup. Additionally, while some delivery services are beginning to pop up in cities like Detroit and Ann Arbor, nothing of the sort has yet to be released in the Mid-Michigan area.
