Market Street

Located right in the heart of downtown St. Louis, Market Street is far and away one of the largest centers of culture and stuff to do in the whole city. Whether it’s the many yearly parades held in the city, the public festivals for all to enjoy, or just something as simple as heading to the Gateway Mall for some shopping or a bite to eat, touring the campus of Harris-Stowe State University, or paying a visit to the National Bowling Hall of Fame, Market Street has a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy!

This engaging and easily walkable stretch of the city is also great for history buffs. The Old Courthouse is the site of significant, historical court cases like Dred Scott and the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum. Its famous Gold Star flag is only a stone's throw away. We highly recommend stopping by and having a look the next time you visit St. Louis!

Ballpark Village

If you’re a lover of sports instead of a history buff, then Ballpark Village should be high on your list of destinations on your next trip to St. Louis. Ballpark Village is the resting place for Busch Stadium, the home ballpark for one of the nation’s oldest and most successful baseball teams, and it’s got a massive amount of places to eat, stay, and things to do in between trips to the ballpark. That’s right, sports fans, there’s far more to see here than just the 11-time World Series-winning St. Louis Cardinals.

Located right in the middle of downtown St. Louis, Ballpark Village frequently hosts events like festivals, live music, and sporting events for folks to enjoy. Along with fireworks displays on major holidays and lots of gorgeous restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating to grab a brew or a bite to eat, there’s so much you can do in BPV. With more than $100 million in retail and entertainment spread throughout the 150,000-square-foot facility, the Village hosted more than 10 million guests and about 120 free events for folks to enjoy in its first three years of operation!

Whether you’re looking for a jersey from your favorite Cardinals player or just looking to explore downtown and grab a bite to eat, we highly recommend Ballpark Village.

The Grove

Believe it or not, this now thriving, bustling stretch of the city was once in significant decline. Originally known as the Manchester Strip, this stretch of the city nestled between Kingshighway and Vandeventer was reborn in the 80s thanks to the LGBTQ+ community and shaped into what it is today. In the modern day, The Grove is home to more than 50 places to eat and drink, shop or get tattooed, or even grab a coffee or homebrewed beverage. There’s a little bit of something for everyone!

Full of fun activities all within walking distance of one another, The Grove is an excellent choice whether you’re looking for live music and a show, some dancing at a nightclub, or just relaxing in a place with a high-energy, artistic vibe thanks to the massive variety of street art, you really can’t go wrong with spending some time in The Grove!

Perhaps the most famous landmark in the city, the Gateway Arch, is a must-see if you spend some time in St. Louis. Either you can take the initiative, wander around and check out everything the Arch and the surrounding area offer, or opt for an all-inclusive guided tour for not too much out of pocket.

No matter how you’re looking to take in and see the Arch, whether it’s from the solid ground near the Old Courthouse, on the move via the tram rides around the area, or from the water via river cruises. The city even offers packages with informative documentaries for those who are looking to turn their vacation or trip to St. Louis into a learning opportunity.

No matter how you choose to check out the Gateway Arch, this pillar of tourism and staple of St. Louis is fantastic whether you’re looking up at the Arch from below, scoping it out via the Old Courthouse, or taking in the sights and sounds from a riverboat or tram. If you’re on the hunt for perhaps the city's most unique kid-friendly tourism spot, then you can’t go wrong with the City Museum. Don’t let the slightly generic name fool you. However, the City Museum is an interactive wonderland, whether it’s the tunnels, slices, climbing opportunities, bridges, castles, playgrounds, or even a ball pit.

This 10-story, 600,000 square-foot former warehouse home of the International Shoe Company is a perfect mixture of a children’s playground, surrealist art piece, and architectural marvel all in one handy package. The brainchild of Bob and Gail Cassilly, two classically trained sculptors and visionary artists, the City Museum has been a staple of St. Louis since it opened for visitors back in 1997.

A place with deep urban roots in the local culture of St. Louis, the City Museum is a love letter to not only the city of St. Louis but all of its Rust Belt cousins to boot!

Where to Buy Marijuana in saint louis

N'Bliss

Source: N'Bliss

While it’s true that Missouri has yet to legalize recreational cannabis use entirely, it’s far from the worst place to be if you’re looking to spark up. Not only do they have a well-run state-level medical cannabis program, but cannabis use and possession have been decriminalized since 2014. With that in mind, your best bet to get cannabis safely is via a medical cannabis dispensary. To further complicate things, however, due to the lack of medical cannabis reciprocity, you’ll need your own Missouri medical card.

However, if you have one, we highly recommend visiting N'Bliss. Consistently ranking as the number one medical dispensary in all of Missouri, they offer a massive range of options for all different types of patients! Whether it’s an enormous array of different types of cannabis flower, pre-rolled joints, disposable vapes and vape cartridges, edibles, topicals, and a wide range of smoking accessories, this dispensary has a little something for everyone!

Constantly offering discounts, sales, and rewards programs for loyal medical patients, there’s a whole laundry list of why this dispensary is top-notch! We strongly suggest stopping in during your time in St. Louis.

A genuinely unique dispensary experience, a patient’s trip to SWADE is about as good as it gets when it comes to medical dispensaries.

With all of their cannabis being locally sourced, excellent customer service, and flashy presentation for their top-of-the-line products, these dispensaries are about as inviting, informative, and precise as it gets when it comes to a medical cannabis dispensary in the state.

So if you’re on the hunt for a one-of-a-kind, incredibly upscale cannabis experience, it’s hard to go wrong with an option like SWADE!
