Medical Marijuana in New Brunswick, Canada

On August 24, 2016, the new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) came into action and replaced the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR). Under this new law, patients will continue to have the option of purchasing medical marijuana from one of the licensed producers by Health Canada. They are now able to produce a small amount of cannabis for their medical conditions or designate someone to produce it for them.
