Purple Gorilla is an Indica-dominant hybrid, composed of 40% sativa and 60% indica qualities. The strain’s high is indicative of this, with a creative, energized high in both the body and the head that melds with intense euphoria to build a happy mood from the ground up. Medicinally, Purple Gorilla may treat anxiety, muscle spasms, migraine headaches, nausea, chronic pain, and insomnia. The heredity of the Purple Gorilla strain is a mystery, but it’s thought to most likely carry genes that descend from the original Mendocino Purps. Purple Gorilla’s dominant terpene profile comprises caryophyllene, carene, and limonene. Thanks to these, its aroma is sharp and pungent with notes of earth, berries, and light toast. Visually, the nugs are dark green with shades of purple and leafy, with thick, fiery orange hairs weaved throughout it. Its crystal trichomes are a translucent white shade and densely cover the nugs.
