Ive seen on this board how much you want real reviews, good & bad... so here goes... (if you dont have time to read, skip down to "Tips)I ordered from these guys last week.(#29229) I knew exactly what I wanted & some of it was for medicinal cooking. Long/Short My order was severely fed up. The oil I wanted to cook with for my stage 4 uncle was black instead of gold. I couldnt get past that fact and just assumed it was all shit. I was texting the operator & sending pics from 15 minutes after pick-up, but she couldnt get a response... so I started posting on this wall & was told I should have just called them if I had a problem.... That unfortunately flipped the toddler switch in me and I started ranting, misunderstanding & throwing a tantrum. Multiple people (unnamed people) were texting me, trying to fix it. But I didnt know if different people were offering "additional apology gifts or were switching up what my return was going to be. I was having car issues, couldnt get back to the city & had to leave state in the AM after I saw the mechanic. I sent WL one last text saying f*it... let bygones be & just try to treat your customers the way they want to be treated.., I took my own advice & took down all my derogatory comments because I felt they were trying to make it right... just couldnt. Bad timing. I havent written since. So why now?Had a slow day yesterday... thought it would be a good day to "try the dc crap so I could decide to throw it away or not.Holy ShitThat said, I have some tips/suggestions for consumers & WeLit:TIPS FOR CONSUMERS:1-We Lit makes NO claims to be medicinal. If you are used to medical strand labeling, % cannabanoid counts, marketable packaging, etc... Go to a medical dispensary. You are going to pay at least 30%-75% more (important note*** comparatively you pay MORE (higher per g) the HIGHER quantity you buy in medical. There oz price cuts are not nearly as deep as WeLit). But if you want to spend the extra cash to be sure of what you have, I would suggest Takoma Wellness Center. Again, will cost WAY more, you need to make an appointment & you need a DC medical card (May accept MD now, not sure). But if you are willing to pay retail + a bit more for medical confidence...there you go,2. If you have a problem along the way, call the number given on the WeLit WW home page ONLY & ask them who to talk to with your concern. TRY TO REFRAIN from talking to multiple people! It seems to me that a lot of cats in this group will try to fix it. They seem to be a really good people... but too many voices cause chaos, especially when many of us are trying to be as ananymous as possible3. If you feel you didnt get what you ordered... call & ask! I thought I was given shit that was burnt or purged incorrectly. When I actually put light to it, I saw there were no sightable impurities, it was a beautiful amber color & it certainly was . I now realize they gave me a comparable and/or more potent strand to try to make up. So they didnt intentionally screw me, just didnt properly communicate.4. If you are a DC resident, have an mmj card & money is not an issue for you.... but labeling, cannabanoid count, and knowing you have exactly what you ordered is imperative... go to a medical dispensary.5. If you want some of the highest quality & are willing to realize that quality @ low prices doesnt stay on the shelf long... then you have the patience to work with this quickly growing company that will do their best to fix the occasional screw-up. WeLit Suggestions:1- Order Changes... I received a call about changing a flower strand... same should have been asked of the other products. Its not ok to assume because a customer is ok with one change, that they are ok with any change2- labeling. Even if its just the two or three letter descriptions from leafly... Gsc, OG, AK, etc.... If we are sampling, its hard to know what to reorder w/o a label.4-Customer Service. It may help to have only one person at a time to talk with/communicate to a disgruntled customer. More than one person confuses things... especially when communication is primarily text.Just my $0.02
