I'm from Richmond and my local plug has been having issues getting the goods, so I decided to try out a delivery service for the first time. I found Zip Delivery on this site and they had some of the most reasonable prices from what I could see. I texted the number provided to let them know I wanted to get 4 ounces, and would be driving up from Richmond that day, and asked if they would be able to accomodate me. I got a response that just said "yes", and then a guy called me right away. He was really nice, easy to talk to. I asked what was the most I could buy from them and he said 4 ounces would be the max. So I settled on 3oz at $600 total, and told him I'd be there around 5 or 6. He said that was fine. I called to let him know when I was on the way, and he said he'd go ahead and text me the address where we'd meet. We hung up and I started my drive but never got a text with the address. Finally I texted the guy about an hour and a half later, and asked if he could send the address and he finally did. Wasn't the most comforting feeling waiting on that address, though. Then I text him when I was 30 minutes out to give him a heads up but the text wouldn't go through. Tried to call and it went straight to voicemail. Not gonna lie, I definitely started to panic at that moment but tried to keep the faith and kept on my way to the meetup location, even though I was starting to freak out a little. Thankfully, I got a text back about 10-15 minutes later saying we were all good to meet up at 6 still. I got to the location (somewhat sketchy area) and called to let him know, in which they then directed me to a semi-sketchy gas station around the corner. I kind of wish it would've been a better meetup location, as the parking lot was super small and there weren't actually any parking spaces, only gas pumps. So I pulled up to a pump and called to let them know I was there. I started to pump gas so I wouldn't look weird just sitting in my car. The guy told me a car would be pulling up at any moment, so I hung up and waited patiently. I had arrived at the gas station right on time at 6pm, and the delivery driver rolled up around 6:10. So, not too bad of a wait. The guy was really nice, he was the passenger with a female driver. They pulled up to the pump next to me, and at first I didn't know if I should come to him or let him come to me. But then he signalled to let me know to come over to his window. I know weed is legal there, but I still felt really weird doing the transaction right there in the middle of the busy gas station. But I thought, fuck it, I've come this far, definitely not turning back at this point. I had originally requested 3 different strains, Bleu Cheese, Platinum OG, and Orange Cookies, an ounce of each for $200 a piece. The delivery guy said they were out of the Platinum but that I could double up on another one of the strains if I wanted. I decided to double up on the Bleu Cheese, and man I'm glad I did. Definitely not a fan of the Orange Cookies. It tasted super harsh and the buds feel dried out. It doesn't seem like it was stored properly and overall I was just really disappointed with the quality of the bud. It had looked decent through the bag but smoked terrible. The Bleu Cheese was much better than the Orange Cookies, but still not the quality I'm used to, especially for that price. All in all, the customer service was decent, I just wish the communication had been better. But mainly wish the bud was better quality. I can deal with shoddy communication, but refuse to compromise on bud quality. Hoping for a better experience with the next delivery service I try out. :(
