I have purchased shake ounces at least 20 times over the last three years, and from a number of different vendors. These transactions have all been made with the understanding of inherent variability in the product I ultimately received. That said, the 2oz I just received from Gas Nation was shocking... and not in a good way. This is completely useless for any purpose other than making butter or concentrate. We're talkin sticks without a single tricomb, or even a leaf attached. Lots of them. I never expect a bag of decent popcorn, but this is not even interior/manicure trim. This is the pulverized bottom corner of a brown paper bag full of fan leaves. One could purchase any amount of any quality flower, from any vendor for the equivalent cost, and end up with multiple times the total mass of thc - regardless of whether it was ultimately destined for direct consumption or raw material for concentrate production.I can't speak to the quality of their flower, but I wouldn't pay much for whatever this came from, and buying their shake is as close to flushing money down the toilet as one can get while still ending up with a bag of powdered plant.

Only people I do business with at this point. My own purchases and all those from people I sent this direction, have thus far guaranteed repeat business because the quality of the flower is always as good or better than we hoped when making the purchase. Never disappointed, almost always impressed. I can't say the same of any competitors from which I previously purchased flower

First time dealing with Puff King, and grabbed the two bags of premium. I got a lot of respect for the growers they sourced from, and whomever at PK was in charge of deciding on inventory has a solid eye for quality. I have only been back in DC for a year- at the price point PK offers their 'premium' selection, what I saw was easily the best execution/processing/curing job I have seen in my own or friend's bag coming from a delivery service. There are a lot of delivery options in DC, and their menus/strain stock can vary pretty widely...or sometimes not at all. Puff King had a really nice variety of strains- A number of which, either I or a close friend have grown previously (cause I'ma NorCal native, and our plant limit was much higher) and really enjoyed. Those old-school favs are a couple generations removed from 2016 -> hybrid strains and will never have quite the same THC % as current varieties being selectively bred for potency. -----but these are such a crisper flavor, and more pleasant smoke than I have gotten from 200-250 exotics I have obtained from other services. Pretty much anything you get in DC which is not north of $300/oz is definitely outdoor. Don't get it twisted, the Sun knows wtf it's doing, but it's not practical to invest as much time drying, manicuring, and jarring it up to finish the cure. Run it through a trim-box, package it just before it finishes drying, leave a little airspace in the vac bag, and hope it cures in storage. Over the last year, I haven't seen more than a bag or two, anyone I know end up with well-executed indoor/hydro nugs when ordering current strains in DC- The tops always stay in your own jar; the REALLY nice nugs go to your friends or boutique shops in Frisco that will offer >$2800/lbs. Well manicured, indoor runs of non-public, or newly public genes get shipped out at $3500-4000+ a P. Advice for anyone starting out with DC delivery: if their blowin L's of it somewhere in Top40, it probably won't look as good as what I just got from Puff King, unless you are paying a lot more.
