Myself and my friend visited Totem Pole Dispensary on Sunday morning(31-Oct-2021). We encountered a extremely racist Australian Canadian salesperson who in my humble opinion belongs to a mental asylum or a jail. I would not be surprised if this person has a criminal record and or previous mental health issues. I also question hiring of such a person unless he is one of the owners! He was extremely abusive, when we questioned his math skills at check out, he started swearing and continuously threatened physical assault. He followed us outside the store swearing and threatening physical assault and also sweared at two other brown customers. I am 60 years old and have travelled extensively both in Canada and Globally and in my entire lifetime never experienced such violent behaviour. I am tempted to report my experience to both the RCMP and the regulatory authority that oversee such dispensary. This person is a ticking time bomb and in every likelihood will sooner or later end up physically assaulting customers.Never thought that we would experience such racist behaviour on a Indian Reservation.I urge both the store owners and regulatory authority to review the surveillance located both inside and outside the store.
