Discover cannabis culture in Somerville, MA

Somerville is a city just outside Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Located right on the Boston Harbor, Somerville is a scenic town popular for families and young people alike. The LEGOLAND Discovery Center in town is a great place to spend a rainy afternoon and the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard is a great place to learn about ancient cultures. For more history, head to the Longfellow House and Washington’s Headquarters, where famed poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow lived and where George Washington held his headquarters during the revolution. On a sunny day, head to Middlesex Fells Reservation for endless trails and a chance to get out of the city.

While Somerville has some amazing history and things to do by itself, the city has also grown to become a cannabis destination. Massachusetts legalized marijuana for medical use in 2012 and then for recreational use in 2016. Although marijuana has been legalized, it is still illegal to consume marijuana in public. Cannabis consumption should only be done at home away from the public’s view. It is also very illegal to smoke weed and drive and should not be attempted.
