When I needed my 2 year Renewal for my MMMP card, the place I had formerly gone to on 8 Mile just did not have a dependable schedule for seeing a doctor. Living in Eastpointe, I have driven past this business in Roseville many times. Their website has the most up to date schedule to see their doctor. It is currently T, R, or F from 3-6 PM, with 20% off on Tuesdays for Certifications or Renewals.You can make an appointment too, I just called first to be sure that the dr. would in fact be there that day. I went in at about 4 PM on a Tuesday, they were really busy as this place is very popular. Good for them! The owner, Medical Mike, was there and he explained all of the paperwork to fill out and what they needed to make copies of, such as you DL. There were at least 12 people there before me, so I did wait a bit less than 90 minutes to see the dr. I am not sure if it is the same doctor each time you go, but I saw Dr. Rossmoore. We went through much of my medical records to make sure that I had a state of Michigan defined "medical condition", which I do and this was a Renewal. You will need some form of your medical records to bring that shows you have one of these qualifying conditions, the list is always up on the State of MI website and easy to find. They don't change much, but recently, for example, PTSD became an approved condition. The visit with the doctor was short and quick, he does look at your records, makes relevant copies, takes your blood pressure, that sort of thing. They had all of the forms that you may need. I did mine ultimately at home because I had to have my assigned Caregiver fill them out too. But they do have them all there as well. It was quick and easy! Medical Mike was really very knowledgeable, he used to do a radio show about this exact subject and is super well-versed if you have any questions. Easy and free parking on Gratiot, or there is a lot right next to the building on the south side. It's easy to find, the overhang clearly marks the location in bright colors. They do Certifications and Renewals, but also have classes and meetups and related events, not a dispensary. Try them out, I couldn't recommend them more!
