Medical Marijuana in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Medical marijuana has been legal throughout Canada since 2000, but a few things have changed over the years. The Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations has since changed to the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations. This new law indicates that medical patients can still obtain their medicine from licensed producers by Health Canada, but they can now also grow a small amount of marijuana on their own or designate someone to produce it for them.
