The Zodiac Signs as Stoners Based on Your Element - Air Signs

Published on 6/3/22

People love to hate on astrology. They will say it is a baseless science that holds no value or truth and is simply something to pass the time for bored women. It may be the current events happening or our disillusionment with society, but either way, astrology has come back in full force - and may be here to stay. Below we're going to break down some of the signs while high, the best weed for each, and perhaps even answer the burning question of which zodiac signs smoke the most.

The Basics of Astrology

Sure, we know you've read your daily horoscope at least once in your life, but do you really know what astrology is? Astrology is the study of the stars and their movements and how they influence human affairs and the natural world. If you live under a rock, there are 12 astrological signs that correlate to each day on the calendar. Within these 12 signs, there are 4 elements - earth, air, water, and fire. Your star sign and these elements have defining characteristics that rule how you deal with things like love and money.

Air Signs: The Chatty Stoners

Astrology has taken over social media, and you've likely been inundated with tweets, Instagram posts, and TikToks that surround your star sign. Here at Where's Weed, we're doing a deep dive on the signs and examining how they may act, what they love to do in their free time, and most importantly - do they prefer an indica or a sativa strain

We're focusing on the Air element today. Comprised of the Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra, the air element is known as the chatty, most social of all the signs. These signs are the masters of communication, and nothing makes them feel more alive than stimulating conversation.

While air signs are known to be very intellectual, they tend to have their head in the clouds. An air sign is a free spirit at heart and each of the signs in this element love to explore new things, tend to seem "all over the place," and are humorous and witty above all else. Air signs live and let live.

Gemini (May 21 to June 20)

This sign is one that is represented by the twins and is perhaps the chattiest of all the signs in the zodiac. Geminis embrace their imagery of the twins by constantly seeing the dual nature of things, looking at every side of a situation. Some will say that the Gemini is two-faced, but they are so socially flexible that they can move from social group to social group flawlessly.

In addition to there being 12 signs of the zodiac, there are also 3 modalities that signs fall into. The 3 are cardinal, mutable, and fixed - and it is all about where each sign falls in their seasons. A Gemini is a mutable sign, meaning that it falls at the end of their season, which sheds light on the flexibility that a Gemini has.

When high, this zodiac sign will definitely be at the latest art gallery opening or bar hop all night with friends - stopping for joints in between. For a Gemini, weed is all about creating more thoughtful conversations with friends and giving them the energy to do so.

For the Gemini that is always ready to hop into a conversation and debate the latest Netflix series or documentary, they'll need a strain that keeps them uplifted and focused. A sativa like Tangie is sure to do the trick and brings about a euphoric head high that will keep your favorite Gemini buzzing late into the night.

Libra (September 23 to October 22)

The Libra is the sign of the scales, which means that these are all about balance. Ruled by Venus, the planet of love, this sign is all about relationships and pleasure and has a keen eye for fashion and anything else that is pleasing to the eye. As a cardinal sign, meaning that it comes at the start of the season, the Libra is known to be a leader. They are both practical and innovative leaders while simultaneously being the flirt of the zodiac.

A Libra loves beauty and pleasure, so while high, you'll likely catch a libra trying out a new makeup look, arranging a bouquet of flowers, or painting the next masterpiece.

It's obvious that Libras are multi-faceted and value balance above all else. We would posit that the Libra's weed sign (aka the best strain for them) would be a delicious hybrid that checks all the boxes. Is there a better strain out there than OG Kush? This strain will deliver an intense cerebral feeling, followed by the hard-hitting body numbness after a long day.

Aquarius (January 20 to February 19)

The Aquarius is the water bearer of the signs and is often considered the humanitarian of the zodiac. In constant need of delivering knowledge to the world, an Aquarius processes emotions and relationships at a deeper level to ultimately help society evolve. The Aquarius will march to the beat of their own drum and is constantly labeled the "weirdo" of the zodiac. The Aquarius is a fixed sign, meaning that it falls in the middle of their season and is known to be extremely stubborn.

For an Aquarius, weed will take them to volunteer at their favorite nonprofit, spearhead the latest rally efforts for their favorite cause, or have deep, insightful conversations with their loved ones.

The Aquarius feels the weight of the world, and to ensure that they don't get brought down with it, the go-to strain keeps them calm and relaxed. An indica like Granddaddy Purple is sure to quell any anxieties about the world today that they may have while releasing them into a blissful, euphoric state of mind.
