Where's Weed is an established, fast-growing cannabis marketing firm based in Aurora, Colorado. We’re looking for an ambitious, motivated Sales Account Executive to join our small team of dedicated cannabis enthusiasts!
The ideal candidate is a self-starter willing to work independently and in a team setting to reach sales goals and nurture customer relationships. A strong understanding of the cannabis industry is preferred, but not necessarily required. Candidates must reside in the Denver or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Develops and executes a personal sales strategy that reaches prospecting calls and sales goals
Cultivates customer relationships and manage account needs on an individual basis
Provide timely and accurate responses to customer concerns
Maintains accurate records of account transactions, proposals and leads in Salesforce
Assists the company in helping develop and execute long-term goals
Occasionally attend industry events/tradeshows to spread brand awareness and prospect for new clients
Requirements
Minimum two years experience in sales management/lead generation
Strong understanding of customer service needs
Great organization skills, in office and digitally
Ability to set and execute goals promptly
Understanding of sales and performance metrics
Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and coworkers
Problem-solving & negotiation skills
Positive attitude with the desire to be part of an expanding company
Salesforce/CRM knowledge a plus

Where's Weed is looking for the right person motivated to advance the cannabis industry and join our fast-paced team in Aurora. We need a qualified, energetic SEO Copywriting Intern ready to keep up with rapid national growth to join our team.
Ideal candidate thrives in a group setting but is also a self-starter and can work independently to reach marketing goals. The Intern will be responsible to manage/develop and engage in actionable and customer-facing content for the company's website, blog, email, white-papers and other marketing materials. Work collaboratively with key departments (marketing, product developers, customer service, design team, and IT) to ensure content accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage website content, customer content and the blog calendar.
Write engaging content for the company's blog, emails, ads, landing pages, white-papers and more.
Maintain a weekly metric report on traffic statistics and content performance.
Research, write/edit and create layouts for new content/articles. Proofread content on the website.
Communicate with other departments to insure cohesiveness between blog and website.
Perform other duties, as assigned. Work with design team for designs and graphics for the blog. Creating topics and new ideas for the blog.
Requirements
Junior or Senior in standing with an accredited university or college
Majoring in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing or other writing-related major OR possessing verifiable writing experience (school newspapers, blogs, etc.)
Knowledge of search engine optimization is preferred
Basic HTML understanding is preferred, not required
Writing samples required
Must be self-motivated and organized
Compensation
$13/hour, 20 to 40 hours a week. The internship will run through September 1st, 2018 with the possibility of ongoing employment.
