Discover cannabis culture in South Portland, ME

South Portland is located adjacent to Portland, Maine across the Fore River. South Portland is home to plenty of things to do for both outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Hinckley Park features a lake and a variety of trails to enjoy, and Fort Williams Park lies on the coast and has the famous Portland Head Light which was built in 1791. Head across the river to visit the Portland Museum of Art or the Victoria Mansion to get your fix of history and culture. The area is also home to plenty of good restaurants and breweries, making sure your visit will be full of things to do. 

Luckily for visitors wishing to toke up, South Portland has a few medical and recreational dispensaries to check out. The state first legalized medical marijuana in 1999, and then adult-use cannabis in 2016. But it wasn’t until October 2020 that adult-use sales finally began. While there are just a few dispensaries selling recreational cannabis currently open, consumers can find all of the products they need. Please note that it is illegal to consume cannabis in a public setting such as a park, and users should not drive after consuming.
