Clovis, New Mexico is a town located near the Texas border and has plenty to do for visitors and locals alike. One popular attraction is the Hillcrest Park Zoo, which has a variety of animals and educational programs for all to enjoy. The Norman Petty Recording Studio is also a great spot to see where Buddy Holly recorded some of his music. The town also has plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities, too.
Unfortunately for those looking to purchase cannabis, Clovis is not too 420-friendly. The state of New Mexico did legalize medical marijuana in 2007 but has yet to legalize recreational cannabis.
