Riverside, California's marijuana laws are drastically different than some of the surrounding cities and counties. Recreational cannabis is not allowed in the county, though this is likely to change in the near future. There are a few medical marijuana dispensaries as well as delivery services in the area that qualifying patients are allowed to utilize. It is currently legal for adults 21 and older to cultivate a limited amount of marijuana in the privacy of their own homes. However, it is not allowed to be grown commercially in the unincorporated areas of Riverside according to Ordinance No. 925.
