Although it is the capital of the Golden State, Sacramento is somewhat of a hidden gem in the state, often overlooked by those visiting just Los Angeles or San Francisco. While you’re in town, make sure you head to Old Sacramento to get a feeling for what it was like to be in town during the famous Gold Rush. Those over 21 are able to purchase up to 1 ounce of cannabis flower or 8 grams of concentrates each day. For those with a medical marijuana card, you may purchase up to 8 ounces at a time. Dispensaries may only open until 9 PM, so be sure to check on a dispensary’s hours before visiting as they may close earlier.
