Santa Fe, New Mexico is a gorgeous city full of history, art, and things to do. Known for being the home of Georgia O’Keeffe, the city celebrates her with its amazing Georgia O’Keeffe Museum which features an impressive display of works by the artist. The Loretto Chappel is also a beautiful chapel with gothic revival architecture and plenty of history. Stop by the Santa Fe Plaza to step into days long gone, and head to one of the many galleries, shops and restaurants nearby. Go to Meow Wolf for quirky art installations that will blow your mind away.
As quirky as Santa Fe is, it, unfortunately, is not too 420-friendly. New Mexico did legalize medical marijuana in 2007 but has yet to legalize cannabis for adult-use. However, Santa Fe has been progressive since 2014 when it decriminalized marijuana to just a $25 fine for those caught with less than an ounce. Furthermore, the state of New Mexico did decriminalize marijuana in 2019 to just have a $50 fine for those caught with less than a half-ounce.
